Yea, it sounds rough. Right after I moved to Missouri, the old cat I left with my ex's family died. He was 20 though (I think), really old for a cat, so I'm not that surprised, but it still hurt a lot knowing he died. Losing a pet is always hard especially when they have been with you a long time and been a good emotional support to you.

Yeah. I'm happy I was able to be with him. I was worried that something would happen while I was away and I wouldn't be able to be with him when the time came. My older sister would comment that Monty was essentially my little shadow that wandered after me everywhere. As he got older and had some arthritis issues I make ramps here and there so he could get on the couch or my bed. He was a fairly independant dog, not a cuddle bun but he would happen to be really close to me on occasion. ;)

Thanks guys. :). I'll miss him. I have a painting and photograph hanging here, which I find helps. He was cremated and I'm on the lookout for a nice cedar box for his ashes.

I remember when Tom Cat died. I was devistated. I came home from school to my so called boyfriend and my mom saying "Tom is dead. he's burried over here" I went to school the next day and cried to all my friends =(

The photo's I have of him help. The song that was playing on my mp3 player when i was told the bad news was the one pokemon song "the time has come" it was from the first season of the anime episode "Good Bye Pikachu" so that became our song =(

Long day at work today. Not a long shift, only 4 hours, but felt long. Slow for the most part exept when the odd pack of teenagers show up and want to try on all the costumes. Spent part of the day updating the costume wall with the new ones we got in and the latter part sorting out the loot bag aisle. Fun job *that* one. People throw stuff willy nilly everywhere and I have to pull it all back out and put them in the right bins. Joy.

too bad the final stage needs 10k clicks.. and i need the final stage to turn it into a noble.. then again into a exalted ><

if you pick eggs up out of the basket you have to have less then five. if you have more then five you cant get the egg out of the basket
