It is. I might get trained to help the cake decorator. though it's only a grocery store bakery so they don't really do anything special but you have to start your piping skill some where!

Orientation at work today. First full day starts tomorrow. Tired already. Don't wanna! Part time though, (never did ask) so not too much time there, but not as much pay either.

a bit more. then my other job called me just now asked me to work but I can't cuz I am already working and tomorrow is my only day off this week and the only Saturday I have had off in who knows how long so I don't want to!

I can completely understand that. I didn't have a single weekend day off from May to August. I finally had to say something about it. So I got the odd Saturday off. It's been about three weeks since I've had anymore weekend time which isn't horrible.

well it's not very often I would get Saturday off since I work 2 jobs and I give every other Saturday to each of them. And I work every Sunday at one.

it was you i was referring to, because i am full-time and i had weekend off it /sucked/ everything is either closed or runs odd hours for me to use them, why would you want that? it is only good if you have no pressing responsibilities

I like to have a Saturday off cuz I still live with my mom and she has Saturday off and that's when she does her shopping.

Except the bank. Ugh! Don't get me started on the bank and how it works out with my pay days. Aaaaanyway. But to answer your question Choco, I want weekend time because my husband has weekends off and I miss him. With me working overnights two nights a week we don't seem to spend much time together. I like the overnight shift. We could make it work IF that was all I worked but my sleep schedule gets so messed up with switching from evenings to overnights and back again. |
