I dreamed about college! And taking showers clothed. For some reason I dream that often.
Wearing wet clothes sounds more like a nightmare.
I had several layers of coats for some reason
and they got wet obviously, so I handed them to my mom, who didn't like the fact that I 'forgot' to take them off to shower |
Well, it is an easy thing to forget. Just not the sort of thing that anyone admits. Especially those who want to also get laundry done at the same time, so for them it's intentional.
I'd like something like a washing machine for humans.
You enter, get thrown around and you walk out clean. |
What if it's something more like an automated car wash?
As long as I don't have to do anything, I'm game. Also I hope I don't drown, but it's not a requirement.
If it could brush our teeth and slip us into our clothes at the end of the conveyor belt, that'd be even better. Hair removal might be an issue.
hehe that reminds me of one the episodes of Richard's Ayoade Gadget Man. The intro was him getting ready but in a conveyor belt. Unfortunately he was dressed under his suit.
Like a secondary suit? I need to find the episodes and try to watch it.
Like a diving suit!
He's so great. I wish I could find his scene in Paddington 2. I could only watch dubbed. |
I've still got to see the first one. Going to have to go the DVD route, but have to finish another one first.
And my phone won't stop getting government alerts because it's getting floody again. Is it winter yet? |
Isn't the first on Netflix? at least it was here.
Don't get flooded! Here it's definitely summer. |
It's not, might be regional differences.
It wound up not getting too bad. At least the power stayed on here, since it wasn't the case for others. |
Call netflix and say you demand paddington 1 and 2!
I thought texas was dry, from tv and movies. |
Parts of it are. Some parts are flat, some are "Hill country" but not quite mountainous. And then there's the forest and wet swampy areas like here. Northern parts will get snow and ice more frequently than others.
Oooh yeah I forget Texas is huuuuge |D
Yeah, but not as big as Brazil.
Big states here have the same weather, like Amazon.
Oooh not Minas Gerais. Minas Gerais is diverse. No snow or ice though. Just from hot to hotter |D |
Do the rains ever get disastrous?
Yes, mostly because houses are built in unsafe places.
Ah, that's too bad. Do they still build there anyway or is it mostly old places? People are still building houses in flood zones here because they only care about profit and not people's lives.
We have more problems with houses coming down and stuff, because people have nowhere to live, then they create their own slums in unsafe places and the rain destroys everything and they die :(
because rent is robbery |
Man, everything sucks. The weather needs to learn how to target the people who value profit over lives.
Yes! Lightning down their houses pls
Here one avenue always floods when it rains but sometimes a car gets lost and that's it. |
Do the owners leave out worn clothes and food so the car can find its way back home?
Unfortunately most cars can't swim and they drown :(
Save the cars! Teach them to swim!
We can start a gofundme to get them snorkel systems.
Or diving bells.
I'd have to know myself first to teach them!
It's easy. Just put on your floaties and don't breathe when underwater.
I need better floaties for the cars though. I'm heavy but cars are heavier.
They have amphibious planes. They can use their floatie system. Some people mod their trucks to have a snorkel system.
some people what... where are they going with their trucks xDDD
I don't know why some do, but I think others do it for practical reasons so they can drive through swampy areas. People love to mod their trucks here and one trend is "lifted" trucks, so I'm guessing that's another one that started off as practical but then evolved into being done cause cool.
I thought only monster trucks that battle were lifted!
Those car mods are evolving. Kinda like body mods. |
Unfortunately the types that do it have developed a reputation for having a disruptive nature and may also add things like a train horn or a "rolling coal" mod that guzzles more gas and makes things extra smokey.

BIO I'M SHOOK
I was telling my sister about the Manila/Vixen beef and then my sister was like... who's Sahara? how can she call herself a fan |
I don't really remember a lot of the contestants or keep up with their arguments either, so I don't even know about the one you're referring to.
