Lately, I've been listening to a lot of Muse, but it kind of got ruined by the fact they played for the Twilight films ._. So every time I hear "I Belong to You" I think of Bella boo hooing over Edward who just dumped her and blah blah blah...
Then I switch over to Rise Against or 30 Seconds to Mars. It sucks and it annoys the everloving snot out of me when they come out with new songs and people just love them for that one song and think they're their number 1 fans... wtf. I've listened to a lot of musicians a lot of people never even heard of. I've actually had CDs imported from Germany for cheap!
Another thing that irks me is when someone wears a Guns&Roses T-shirt or a Pink Floyd one and I go "oh you like their music?" and they respond with "I didn't know they were a band. Cool!" ¬¬
