Reading what you two wrote, it actually makes me glad I'm single ^^; Though then again, I would gladly skip the dating offer I get from guys (and girls O_o), especially those who ask to date you after only seeing you once, I mean, how can you chose to date someone after only seeing that person one time? And it happened numerous times too @_@

Ginger 06-22-2011 11:38 PM

Nefer - That's happened to me. I fell for it once and the guy was a complete asshole. He told everyone in school we did the deed and everyone thought I was a slut. Last I heard, the kid ended up in Juvenile Detention a few years ago.

Kyou Monster 06-22-2011 11:40 PM

Ginger: *Nods along.* This current guy has told me that he believes that he only needs to handle me the "right way" and spend as mush time with me as possible to get me over my intimacy issues. because boy do I have those.
I told him from the beginning that I just want to be friends.
... It's like no one listens to me. D8

That and the last two relationships I've had with a woman didn't go too well either. Different issues.

Nefer: I'll be honest, I do get very lonely. I'll sit at home or lay in bed and worry that I won't be happy with someone again.
But then I decided to take on a new attitude and I just try to focus on my quality of life instead of whether or not I'm with someone.

Don't get me wrong, there are pros and cons to dating. Just be honest to yourself (lol that sounds sooo gay) when it comes to the whole... picking someone thing.

> > I think I babbled I'm sorry.

FaceMeetsPalm 06-22-2011 11:43 PM

Sorry I keep disappearing. I should be on more often tomorrow. =) For now, I'll just try to keep up! Haha.

Ginger 06-22-2011 11:44 PM

I don't mean to abruptly change the subject, but I am feeling somewhat detatched from everything. I feel like I don't belong anywhere and that I have no purpose, that I'm just taking up space. Has anyone else felt this way?

Nefer 06-22-2011 11:46 PM

xD
Lol, well what you said is true really, personally it's just that I'm in no rush to get into a relationship again, the last few years I've been alone were too busy to even think about having a bf again ^^;

@Ginger: Oh gosh, situations like that can be so bad, I know people who had to leave school because of stupid rumors like that, it's not fun at all.
And uh ya, it happens once in a while, but then I have project that comes up and it usually goes away after a week or so...

J. S. Darling 06-22-2011 11:47 PM

Ginger: Sweety, we're all taking up space!
But yes, I do know what you mean. I just don't feel that way quite so often as I used to. Is there anything that you'd like to do to start feeling more accomplished?

Face: Welcome back!

FaceMeetsPalm 06-22-2011 11:48 PM

@Ginger: Occasionally, I think everyone does. For me, I tend to think a little less self-depreciatively, save for the whole... "I'll never be held by anyone offline." type of deal.

FaceMeetsPalm 06-22-2011 11:50 PM

Thank you, James. It's good to be back.

J. S. Darling 06-22-2011 11:50 PM

Face: /creepy I'm holding you right now. *Grins.*

8'D

Nefer 06-22-2011 11:51 PM

Ah shoot, there was too many post at the same time, I forgot to say... WB Face ^^

Ginger 06-22-2011 11:53 PM

Nefer - I have had a point like that in my life, when I was single for 2 years after a breakup. Towards the end of my being single, I really did have a great attitude and everything. Everything was beautiful to me and I felt free. I swore to myself I'd stay single until I graduated high school, but about as soon as school got back in, I found my current boyfriend. I am not regretting it at all because I love him, and his family is the light of my life. Rumors are hard, but it gives people something to talk about I guess. It's just a part of life and growing up.

J.S. Darling - Well.. I've been applying for jobs like crazy and it seems like no matter how hard I try, it's just not going to happen. I've had zero previous experience, which practically ruins my chances of finding a job.

Serra Britt 06-22-2011 11:53 PM

Hi Ginger, Kyou :3

Relationship stuff... I probably shouldn't say too much on the subject, though I don't think thinking I might be alone forever too.

@Ginger, I'm glad you have tht kind of relationship. I was with someone for a while and even after we broke up we remained friends and still support each other, just not financially since we don't live together anymore. That would be a bit too hard emotionally. We did not have any trouble splitting our stuff up though ;)

Edit, wow that took me a while to write, with 6 entries popping up -blush-

FaceMeetsPalm 06-22-2011 11:58 PM

@James: Aw, you're sweet. *kisses his cheek*

@Nefer: Thank you. *smiles* It seems a tad busy, doesn't it?

Nefer 06-22-2011 11:59 PM

@Ginger: Well, I'm not saying I want to be single forever, but until I find a person I'm interested enough with to start a serious relationship I don't mind been single with the rare friends I have that still are... It's just weird though because many of my friends are starting to have children and everything ^^; Oh gosh, it makes me feel old now, lol.

Edit: @FAce: ya, it had been for the last couple of minutes...and apparently I missed yourpost again, go figure xD

Ginger 06-23-2011 12:00 AM

Serra Britt - That's really cool how you remained really good friends. I think that's a sign of maturity. I could pull off the friendship thing after a breakup, but this relationship is a different story. This is the first one where I've actually felt like this person loves me back as much as I love him. His family is very caring and his friends are nice to me most of the time even though we don't talk very much. These are the kind of people I try to surround myself with and it's hard to find all of those qualities in one relationship, but it's all there.

edit; Nefer - This thread is going faster than I thought >.>' I don't think I want children. They are A LOT of work, stress, and money, and I have a low tolerance for things that annoy me. I am slowly getting over it though I think. If my boyfriend wants kids, he can stay home with them while I do the working lol.

J. S. Darling 06-23-2011 12:01 AM

Hello Serra! I was Kyou.

Ginger: Oh my goodness, I completely understand. I see how hard it is to get jobs out there, and I do worry that my current job of three years won't need me anymore and the thought of looking for a new job terrifies me.

But try not to let it get you down, there are many people with job experience and even advanced schooling that can't get a job. :/

Face: Shucks. *Waves a hand.*

Nefer 06-23-2011 12:02 AM

@James: Why do I feel like I'm concerned by that? *has university diploma and internships and yet hasn't manage to find a job yet*

FaceMeetsPalm 06-23-2011 12:06 AM

@Nefer: Haha. It's alright. This forum doesn't seem too well executed. I miss posts often.

Ginger 06-23-2011 12:06 AM

J.S. Darling - That has me worried a little more.. lol. Not even experienced, educated people are getting jobs? Then that must look REALLY bad for me on my applications, when they see I've had zero experience :C

Nefer - There is actually a movie about that. It's a newer one. I forgot what it's called lol, but as soon as I remember I will let you know.

FaceMeetsPalm 06-23-2011 12:06 AM

@James: How cute. *smiles* What a blush.

J. S. Darling 06-23-2011 12:09 AM

Ginger, Nefer, I would just keep it up and try not to get too anxious.
I actually have an ulcer already at my tender age. :\

Face: Hey there mister, I never blush. This is a man's face. It only goes red... with rage.
*Winks* Jusstt kidding.

Everyone, I am out for the evening. Goodnight!

Nefer 06-23-2011 12:09 AM

@Ginger: It really depends on what kind of job you want and where you want to work (as in, city/state), and if you have contacts that can help you get one or not...personally I have none so it doesn't help ^^; And a movie about not been able to get a job? xD

Goodnight James!

FaceMeetsPalm 06-23-2011 12:10 AM

Rest well, James. *chuckles* Take care of yourself.

Ginger 06-23-2011 12:14 AM

J.S. Darling - An ulcer?! D: How old are you right now?

Nefer - Yeah that does play a huge part. I'm trying to get some experience working for my boyfriend's mom in real estate so at least I'll have something to put on my applications. His dad is also taking me with him to do roofing jobs sometimes in case he needs a little extra help here and there.

The movie is about a freshly graduated college graduate who looks and looks and looks for a job with her major, but can't find any lol.

Nefer 06-23-2011 12:20 AM

@Ginger: Oh, that's good, it always help, even if it's not a job in the same domain you'll be able to show them you can work alone and in a team ^^

And lol, oh boy, well personally I could probably go work for my last internship company, but I just don't see myself working there for the next couple of years, so I'm searching for something more in my domain...

J. S. Darling 06-23-2011 12:26 AM

*Snoops back in as his browser was still up at home on this page.* I'm twenty-four and have anxiety attacks~ *Creeps back out for bed. Fo Reals.*

Ginger 06-23-2011 01:03 AM

Nefer - Any experience is better than none in my opinion. I need them to at least look over my application instead of saying "She's almost twenty and has never had a job before?" -burns application and tosses in the trash-

edit; J.S. - That's no good D: I love how there are mostly college-aged users on these sites.

Nefer 06-23-2011 01:06 AM

Ya, it is... You can always add some school projects to your resumee if it's too empty (well, projects that fits with the job you want to have), it's what they actually told us to do when we needed to make our resumee for our internships ^^

Ginger 06-23-2011 01:16 AM

I never did participate in any sports, band, choir, or clubs lol. Soo I'm screwed as of right now xD

Serra Britt 06-23-2011 01:19 AM

Aww Ginger >< I've been in retail so long and now not being able to stand for a while by some mystery ailment of mine, and now it feels like all my experience is worth nothing sometimes >> However I did have a job interview today after 5 months of not working, so don't lose hope entirely. Eventually you'll find someone who's willing to employ you and that will help you get experience :3

Nefer 06-23-2011 01:19 AM

Ah shoot xD But I meant by that special homeworks or the such, like I dunno, you did a webpage concerning _whatnot whatnot_ or your class went to an UN similation thing...

FaceMeetsPalm 06-23-2011 01:28 AM

Nefer, I want to eat your hair. It looks delicious. *scratches his head, looks away*

Nefer 06-23-2011 01:31 AM

Apparently curls makes hair look yummy, but don't be fooled by the look, it actually taste like plastic xD

FaceMeetsPalm 06-23-2011 01:34 AM

@Nefer: That's a shame. A darn shame. *shakes head* Makes my heart downright break, dear.

Nefer 06-23-2011 01:36 AM

Awww, poor you, here, take a strand of the straight hair, it taste like vanilla ice cream (yes, there's a straight part through the curls, it's just well hidden xD)

And I gotta go, it's almost 2AM here, so I better go to sleep if I ever want to wake up tomorrow ^^;

FaceMeetsPalm 06-23-2011 01:40 AM

Ooh. *nibbles it* Delicious. I love vanilla ice cream. *careful not to split the ends*

Nefer 06-23-2011 01:40 AM

xD
I forgot to say... goodnight! or good morning...whatever xD

FaceMeetsPalm 06-23-2011 01:44 AM

Haha. It's 1:43 AM here. =) Either way works, I suppose.

Nefer 06-23-2011 01:46 AM

Lol ya, it's the same time here actually (well, 1:44AM right now I guess you could say). It's just that if I ever want to start waking up before 9AM again I gotta start going to bed when it's still, well, night and not morning xD *look at time and the fact she's still writting while she's suppose to be offline* FAIL xD
