Sai, sounds about like me, except for my brother that lives across the street. Since he's gone most of the time, I mostly speak to him on the phone.

Morning everyone, lol idk if I'm gonna be staying at work or not.

I would of loved to dye my hair when I was
younger, like the bright colors. Especially pink.
But if I did that. My mom would of killed me. And
then I became a mom at 16... (not a smart thing to
do) so I never had the time to rebel. So now I'm
getting it out of my system at my age lol.

Heheh, yeah, I'm not young in either of those pics >.<
My Mom was SUPER AWESOME about giving me the freedom to dress and colour my hair as I pleased when I was a teen... as long as I paid for it myself ^_~
I started dying my hair when I was 15, and kept it up till I was 38. I just haven't had the mobility to colour my own hair (it's so long now that I have a hard time washing it and brushing it, let alone colour it); and I can't afford to go to a salon.

Yes, yes you are ^_^

Sorry I haven't been online much. Things just haven't been great lately- worse than usual, and not something with which I want to bog the thread down.
And, to add insult to injury, my phone is on the fritz. It won't hold a charge for very long, and it only charges if it's sitting in a very specific way- and that way does not allow me to use the phone whilst it charges >.<

So, I have quite a bit of backlogging to do (H'OHNOES! 31 pages to backlog? *faints*) I see that as a positive thing since people are what makes or breaks a thread - and you guys totally make it! :3

Gotta start back on page 11 *Oi!*
Faux-Faux is very prettiful <3
I love the hair and the attitude LOL
That window cleaning looks dangerous! Please tell me that is a green screen behind you and that you're not dangling 500 feet off the ground ó_ò
That corset is to kill for!! $300?! *Yikes!!*
I have two steal-boned corsets that only set me back about $50-$60 plus tax.
I haven't been able to wear even the larger of the two since 2005 D:
I would love to get one that fits and is smooth enough to wear *under* clothing. Those things are soooo good for people with bad backs... and peeps with lots of boobage.
Saiyouri makes a good point about bras. I need to have a professional fitting done since I have gone up (most likely) 2 or 3 cup sizes since I've gained weight. I just can't justify spending $200 on a single bra, even if it is the most comfortable thing ever.
I'd much rather wear a boned corset. I would have to get something like what Faux is sporting in her first pic on page 11- no lace along the top (both of my corsets have lace along the top- not practical under shirts).
I'll have to check the lingerie shop where I bought my other 2 corsets (if it's still in business OTL)

Well, poop. My battery is drained already *GAH!*

I need to try to get back to sleep anyhow. I didn't fall asleep until after 12:30am, and my Mom called me at 3:30am for some insane reason. She could have waited until morning, for goodness sake!

I'm off to see the Phenergan Wizard...
Sleep + low battery = no backlogging for now *le sigh*

Hopefully I'll be back late tonight.
(((HUGS))) for everyone!! <3

I concur, to a point. I honestly believe that since so many unrelated Awarenesses are lumped together under one ribbon, the ribbon loses the meaning and interest it was supposed to originally support.
I mean, seriously, over TWENTY Awarenesses under purple alone? If they were all auto-immune related, I could understand it. But, how do animal cruelty and domestic violence relate? They don't. Neither do Worker's Memorial Day and Orca Whale Awareness (WTF?). I feel that by designating so many things under one colour (of which purple has the most listings at 23!!), it diminishes the efficacy of what Awareness Ribbons were supposed to be all about.

I would like to try something, but I need all Treehouse Members to participate.
I would like to compile a list of each person's ribbon, which I will put next to your name on the Birthday post. (Speaking of which, you guys need to PM me your birthdays so that I can add you to the list ^_^ Please don't just post it here as I may not see it.)

If you don't like your ribbon, show us what you think YOUR ribbon should look like *nod* Draw and colour it, do it in a PS or Paint program, save the image to a host, and post your ribbon design in the post with an image of your current, "official", ribbon.

Please use this form so that I see your post:

Kiddiss, so good to see you here again! I'm sorry things aren't going well for you, do you need to talk about it? That's quite a project you've got there. I'm not sure there are any ribbons for me, I'd have to go check.

Original post I posted removed due to I was not thinking when I posted this and I apologise that this may have offended people.

I repeat, not funny. Disgusting and insulting, actually. I guess the best thing for me is to just leave this thread.

This is one of the few reasons Trisphee doesnt do real world holidays/events.

with the exception of DIs, but kept at a vague minimum

*Zane 04-08-2012 01:33 PM

nope not even, NONE of the items here hold any religious/holiday/cultural significance. all items directly reflect Trisphee's story and Mythos or refrences Mythos throughout EVERY culture.

the closest youre going to get to reflecting real world events/holidays is the Japanese Relief items or Seasonal items such as summer or winter wear, anything else that appears to be holiday (love letter for v-day) is merely a cute item released about the same time or to represent the emotions of said holiday, not an item FOR the holiday, granted there will be exceptions (like the Japan Relief Items,or Commerative Items for our friends on here, like the Passing away of someone very impactful to the community)

Fen has even turned away Flags, simply because someone can find them to be offensive, I.E. Rebel Flags can be pride to some but hatred to others. just like german flags or flags with other symbols over them (I.E. the Union Jack with an Anarchy sign over it) while yes that is a reference to the British Punk movement, that could still be considered offensive on some level.

Echo-chan713 04-08-2012 01:38 PM

Well I said vague minimum which is so little such as the 2011 December items which is a reference to Christmas, not saying that this holiday is better than this one, it's out of cuteness of the items.

Batty 04-08-2012 01:41 PM

Really? Seriously? I don't find it offensive at all.

Actually, I'd rather call it Zombie Jesus Day, than Easter.
Why? Because Easter is Hallmark. Chocolate Bunnies BE OVERLORDS.
