Well she left Gaia and has her own site now and you can have your knuffel directly on your knuffel account and wont risk losing them.

No it was originally supposed to be about pets, they made avatars to attract more members and to get more money for the site and stuff. She makes 98% of the art alone and one guy makes all coding.

but what can you do with the pets?

You can feed them and play with them, eventually they level up and evolve into different stages and you can make them dig material for you so you can finish quests and stuff.

It's a well done site. It may be a little too personal for some people though. And maybe a little complicated. It's not so much about the forums. Well it doesn't have to be. At least it's 467438 times better than Gaia. ;p

I think a pet system - although I love pet sites and now that Yuki has described that one site, I am probably really really going to join it - would complicate Trisphee way too much.

I've yet to see an avatar site properly balance pets/avatars. Either they put too much effort into one and the other suffers, or it ends up clogging the original idea of the entire site.

KofK is totally okay on both aspects. It takes time to finish stuff though alone. But 99% of the things she draws always looks great. imo

I'm not going to compare Gaia and any other forum based site because they each have their pros and cons. Trisphee is small which means everyone knows just about everyone, however, there's not a whole lot conversation during the slower hours.
The only reason I joined and will probably stay, is because Toriki is spending more time here and she's the person I talk to the most.

Having friends on a site is important. :|
