Ah that reminds me. Was planning on having a yard sale later this month. I need to start getting ready. xDDD

-clings to her junk >o>-

Yuki 08-06-2010 11:13 AM

I never buy anything I wont keep...

Aiko 08-06-2010 11:13 AM

Well Aiko would never sell any of her books, not even those she don't read very often... IT'S BLASPHEMY!!!

Yuki 08-06-2010 11:14 AM

Same here... xD Some are for collection.

Aiko 08-06-2010 11:16 AM

Haha exactly!
Also my mom is a librarian... so yeah... I grw up loving books... she always used to read to us... even when I became a teenager, I'd still enjoy sitting with the others and listening to her reading a good story.
It's comfortable, and it made me feel safe, when the rest of the world seemed to crash down around me

Charlaine 08-06-2010 11:20 AM

Well I have a few things that I don't need any more and I want to sell some of my furniture because I plan on redesigning my room. >.< We also have a lot of toys that my brother doesn't play with any more.

Sadrain 08-06-2010 11:20 AM

My mom was librarian, too. x3 I grew up with books around me, they're still around me. If there was nothing else to talk about, we could always talk about a good book. Now, sadly, there's much less good books being published. D8
-luffles on her books and quietly curses cat who wants nothing but tear them apart <o<-

Aiko 08-06-2010 11:21 AM

Charlaine: Ah that kind of stuff, I have such a big family that my cousins or aunts or uncles just inherit anything we don't use if they want it...
(I mean my mom has 8 siblings )

Saddie: So you've noticed too? I have a hard time finding good new books to read, so I've started on all the classics that I haven't read yet... right now it's Ursula K. LeGuinn

Hermes 08-06-2010 11:22 AM

Alright, time to train a Bronzor like a mad person X3

Sadrain 08-06-2010 11:26 AM

Yea, I have SO noticed. We always had problems with getting stuff translated, and now the situation is worse than ever. I am rereading some classics, too, but it's not unlimited count, too. -sigh- I wish I could buy books online. I have read only one Ursula K. LeGuinn's book, but it was really good.

Have fun, Hermes. x3

Yuki 08-06-2010 11:27 AM

Time to rape the stores...

Charlaine 08-06-2010 11:28 AM

Lol yeah we have a decently large family too, but everyone lives so far away that it would be hassle to give all our old stuff to them. And most of my cousins are older anyway.

Yuki 08-06-2010 11:31 AM

aahhhhhh nothing new I want...

Aiko 08-06-2010 11:32 AM

Saddie:I am planning to get the whole Earthsea trilogy read ^_^
Actually Studio Ghibli got me started on it :3

Sadrain 08-06-2010 12:05 PM

>o< Lucky you, Aiko. D8

But is there anything new at all in the shops?
