it's not fantasy, i /adore/ fantasy, it's freaking out over a book and trying to convince people with little to no interest in /that/ particular book to read it

if you said the same thing about the bible or the new york times i'd prolly still be agressive about it having it shoved in my face with such blind...enthusiasm

there is a time and place for everything and sometimes you have to take your cues from those around you especially when it involves broad hints

Nefer 07-24-2011 02:09 AM

...
*go back to play some Final FANTASY, the best type of fantasy ever* xD

Yokuutsu 07-24-2011 02:09 AM

No it's called you're watching a movie to find out what happens since that you didn't read the book so STFU and watch the movie....or read the book before hand.

One of the two. And most people won't do the STFU part. Or even try to be quiet in a movie theater when asking "Does -this character- die?"

Nefer 07-24-2011 02:14 AM

Urg...therefore why I prefer watching movies on dvd ^^;;

Yokuutsu 07-24-2011 02:15 AM

That's my only problem....she wasn't even trying to be quiet about it. If I'd still heard her and she was trying to be quiet....you know trying to whisper....I would've thought nothing about it...except watch the movie and you'll find out lol

littl3chocobo 07-24-2011 02:16 AM

<< nefar that pun was so lame i may have to take it out back and shoot it *secretly laughed*

Nefer 07-24-2011 02:16 AM

@Yokuutsu: Lol ya...and the first nights of a movie are worst too, in a couple of weeks there will be less people watching it at the same time in the same room...

@Choco: Sorry about that xD

Reyoki 07-24-2011 12:33 PM

That's why I still haven't watched the last Harry Potter movie... and the fact that it made my friends want to kill David Yates in cold blood.

Yokuutsu 07-24-2011 12:38 PM

Who is.....David Yates? -is oblivious-

Reyoki 07-24-2011 12:52 PM

I think he's the director. I dunno. I always prefer the books to the movies anyway.

Sadrain 07-24-2011 01:02 PM

-wanders trough, again-

Yokuutsu 07-24-2011 01:06 PM

Well, than he did better than whoever did the third movie.

That one sucked balls.

Reyoki 07-24-2011 01:07 PM

I think the second movie was my favorite out of all the ones I've seen. My favorite out of the books is probably Half Blood Prince, though.

Sadrain 07-24-2011 01:09 PM

I have seen 1st and 3rd HP movies and looong time ago.

Yokuutsu 07-24-2011 01:15 PM

My favorite book was the Prisoner of Azkaban....which is also the worst movie imo

@Sadrain

I have 1-4 on DVD but I swore I had the fifth one D:

Cyanide Lollipop 07-24-2011 01:27 PM

*wanders in* I haven't posted in this thread in ages and even when I did I don't think I posted much. ^^;

I like the HP movies as long as I don't re-read the books right before watching them. <__< Then I end up being nitpicky. But if I haven't read the books in a while they're fine.

I have the first seven movies on DVD. But I still haven't seen the last one, and probably won't til the DVD comes out. T-T
