personally i've never played haha

*gets to the end of the run, leaps solidly into the air and yells* nefar~! *lands on sei instead*

Sei 07-24-2011 12:34 AM

I believe, at least in most franchises, that the first game you play is always your favorite. My friend started with VII, and swore it was better than X, but having started on X and then trying VII, felt the opposite way. VII is /really/ good, but it's not my favorite.

*catches?* Wha...?

Nefer 07-24-2011 12:37 AM

*stop midrun* Uh, over HERE Choco! *waves*

@Sei: They're kinda both my favorites, FF10 because of the graphics and the very big world map, and FF7 because of the storyline and characters, so I can't decided which one I prefer ^^;

Sei 07-24-2011 12:40 AM

VII, I'm not going to lie, confused me quite a great deal. I didn't feel as attached to Cloud and Aeris and I did Tidus and Yuna. *nodsnods*

littl3chocobo 07-24-2011 12:40 AM

*hops off of and bounds over to nefar* ^^:

i've seen ten and the battle system sucks but ff7 has shit graphics(though i suppse stellar for the ninties) it all depends on your fav feature of any game really ...though i'm still going to put in for seven

Nefer 07-24-2011 12:42 AM

I...usually don't get attached to the main characters, apart from...uh...well...ok, I can't think of any game I got attached to the main characters xD So I guess that's why I liked FF7 lol, and the Wall Market section was priceless xD But then again...Sephiroth was and still is my favorite FF character, so it helps...Seymour...atually comes tied with Kuja lol.

*catches Choco midair...and trip over a flower*

Sei 07-24-2011 12:43 AM

I liked Kuja more than Seymour (go, under-appreciated IX!), but I prefered the TBS of X. I liked to strategically place my moves, and felt rushed with the button mash of VII.

Nefer 07-24-2011 12:46 AM

Ok, when I first read I saw 'under-clothated' instead of 'under-appreciated, but then again it would fit with Kuja as well xD

And hmmm, well, FF12 is kinda good for that though, you can run in circle around a big rock to kill a ten times stronger ennemy xD

littl3chocobo 07-24-2011 12:47 AM

*lands in a heap*

i dunno, i got pretty sympathetic over the plights of sephiroth nanaki and after a bit zack(though he is more an idol than a char in 7)

but again i played more than once and so got to play /for/ the story and not for the game, it's fairly fricked up if you pay attention, though cloud and areis are the most 2d of the lot, even barret had a /little/ definition even if it was only a little subplot for a mini boss, made me like his kid more anyway

Sei 07-24-2011 12:48 AM

xD That sounds so exciting!

Nefer 07-24-2011 12:50 AM

That's when I wish they would have thought of Genesis before Crisis Core, it would have been great to have him in it, even only for a reference of something...

Sei 07-24-2011 12:51 AM

I tried to play 12, but I thought it was the worst FF since VIII (I hated those damn cards!). I haven't tried 13 yet because everyone I know said it was a complete waste of money.

Nefer 07-24-2011 12:54 AM

Lol, the cards...it reminds me that I need to restart another game of FF8 since I didn't manage to get all the summons and I'm at the end...*sigh*

Sei 07-24-2011 12:56 AM

Do you need to have all of the summons for the end of the game?

littl3chocobo 07-24-2011 12:58 AM

at least i am not the only one who dislikes 8

Sei 07-24-2011 12:59 AM

My friends all gave me shit for it (I liked IX better and they all liked XIII better), so I just kept replaying X and annoying them. xD
