Umm...we have them we just don't like syrup? Most people find it nasty? We use it for baking bread and christmas candy though. But not just syrup alone.

Senyoru-Chan: I don't eat syrup plain.. I know some people do, but I think it's like.. drinking ketchup. Just weird. Now, if you put it on something, that's a whole 'nother story.

And jam was easier for us to make back in the time cause we got lots of forest. So poor people had lots of berries to use and eat.

Over here, I think it's a case of, "take the sap from the tree, grizzly bears won't compete with you for THAT." xD

Yeah... x_X We got bears but they aren't really that dangerous. They are brown bears. Dx

I think it's interesting how Europe seems to have less deadly creatures than most other continents.. probably because of mankind's long stay there.

When my mom was little she went out to pee in the forest and a young bear came sniffing her butt. She turned around and screamed and the bear did the same and they both ran away.

I used to loove sweets. Now I feel sick in stomach even when I look at most of them. Anything too sweets make my stomach turn upside down. >o> So, I eat a bit of chocolate every now and then. And ice cream. Maybe the last sweet I could eat every day. XD
