Due to a simple misunderstanding early game the part/main character fights off with with Ria, the storekeeper. She never really apologized for accusing and attacking you. Not even a discount! What a bitch. Unfortunately she does have good stock so you still shop there through out the game.
|

An Easter Egg monster only encountered when it is snowing in the northern peaks of the map, and only between December 1st and January 1st according to your game system's time clock. He'll either be in one of 3 states:

They join the team after the protag makes an unpredicted turn and walks right into the trap, and the assassin throws any and all disguise protocols out the window to to take out the attackers almost before the protag notices they're there.
...I almost want to draw this thing out now. |
I think of the final fantasy's Dragoon class.

The NPC you go to who revives fallen party members, ... for a price.
|
The fallen white mage (one of the bosses) who despises humankind, having been betrayed and left to die by whom they had once considered to be friends.

That super powerful player in an MMO that's full of himself in a more smug than loud way that possibly grates your nerves even more. Then it just gets worse as he hit on various female avatars then blatantly tries to buy them with rares and gold.

An admin who has been with the game as a player since the near beginning. They're wise, professional, and yet somehow easy to get along with an open up to. Well that sounds familiar somehow...
Anywho you are an NPC commander that shows up and kicks ass through various parts of the game as being pure awesome and perfect. But as you get stronger he loses some of that dazzle as you get closer to even terms and you see the very human man behind his reputation and his unfortunate part in the events that eventually led to your own quests to right his wrongs. |

In an open-world fantasy game, RinLin is a wandering faerie merchant that sells rare and magical items. At first, the prices of said items are far too steep for any normal player to find, but as you collect vials of faerie dust from dungeons and enemies, she takes it in exchange for discounts.
If you collect all 150 vials of dust throughout the game, she joins your party! In general, she is considered one of the best healer-mages in the game, but to get her you have to REALLY go exploring. |
Eeek, how awesome :D
Key is a mysterious woman. No one knows of her origin, or how she ended up working for the richest family in the country. Some say she have hypnotic skills, and made use of those, but Key knows better - she's just living there due to a contract. Help her get free, and this skilled alchemist/assassin will reward you handsomely. |
In a cyberpunk game, Rin would be an orphan who lives in an abandoned alley, and takes care of all the stray animals at night while trying to make a living selling scrap metal handiwork during the day. The party first meets her while they're running away from a boss that's too strong for them (that they'll get to later), and she quietly directs them into her alley to hide, then distracts the boss while they escape.
