I'd like to formally apologize.
On Monday everything was rolling smoothly and it clearly looked like we were going to make it this Friday.
Things have fallen apart since then. Code, writing, and art are all behind schedule. It seems like a comedy of errors, with things going wrong both from a technical perspective and with personal issues for several staff members, all piled up without warning, like a wreck on an icy highway -- everyone's moving along fast and then something goes wrong and then everything else goes wrong.
We're pushing through it to try to get it done as soon as possible, and honestly this is really embarrassing. I know a lot of you are going to reassure us that everything's going to be okay and we should just keep working and everyone will enjoy it when it comes out and we shouldn't stress about it being late... We do appreciate those comments, but for every user who says that there's someone else who's keeping their mouth shut about how we're always late and how we never get anything done on time.
For those of you on staff who are reading this and have taken extra time out of your schedules to get more man-hours into the effort to try to get this done as soon as possible, I personally and publicly want to thank you for your dedication to Trisphee.
We're going to try to release some teasers and introductory material between now and the official beginning of the event. In the interest of not embarrassing ourselves further, I'm not even going to try to make an estimate. We'll launch when everything's ready.
