neither, this character is a cyborg. i'm a furry irl =P well furry in spirit, but not the crazy "I WAS BORN IN THE WRONG BODY I SHOULD BE A CAT" way

Pisces 02-15-2011 11:18 AM

I know what you mean, lol. What species do you associate with, then?

This made me laugh. XD

Hikori 02-15-2011 11:21 AM

my furry is... complicated XD it's a mixed breed of alot of breed... i just call him a spotted husky

Pisces 02-15-2011 11:25 AM

Sadly, that accurately fits my roomate. = A=; The whole "I WAS BORN IN THE WRONG BODY." He thinks he's a dragon-fox hybrid born as a human...sometimes it gets waaaay creepy.

Also, good morning Keiko! Or would you prefer being called lauv? X_X

I think if I were a furry, I'd be some sort of fox. I'm sure that's one that is used a lot, but I really do like foxes.

.rousium 02-15-2011 12:25 PM

Ohh! Alright, I dunno. I heard about it a lot and thought it had some sort of weird sexual connotation. *shrugs* I think if I was a furry, i'd be a deer. Can I be a deer? They aren't that furry but..lol.

Morning!

Hikori 02-15-2011 12:32 PM

hey dragons aren't furry but they're considered furries =P

.rousium 02-15-2011 12:34 PM

Hey that's true! Yay! What's up Hikori?

Hikori 02-15-2011 12:34 PM

and it sorta does and doesn't... for me the best way to explain furries is- bugs bunny- daffy duck- that cat in that one cartoon movie where the cat goes to Hollywood to be a star and there is a little brat making his life awful- and mickey mouse- sonic the hegehog- crash bandicoot- stuff like that. anthropomorphic creatures, and those who love them .o. roughly

Hikori 02-15-2011 12:36 PM

i got my new doll set, but don't want toswitch to it just yet because i wanna show off this avy first... side note- i'm trying not to get a big head about it- but apparently i make good avvies- and now i'm worried if my avvies are such that whenever i make a change- even if it is good people will shrug it off because it's what's expected of me ::whimpers::

.rousium 02-15-2011 12:44 PM

Lol..:) What's a doll set?

I saw that there was a pretty big update, I guess there's lots more coming. It neat!

Hikori 02-15-2011 12:47 PM

erm it's a silvia set or somethng like that. has doll skin .o.

.rousium 02-15-2011 12:50 PM

Oh, I see. I want that one and the Lunae bundle. Right now, i'm questing to buy a bunch of items from DK. I'm about halfway there. :) I'm not certain which items i'm getting anymore, lol. It's all sorts of different event items. I'm a collector so I like to try to have one of each thing if I can.

Archaic Kitten 02-15-2011 12:59 PM

I have a lunae bundle. ^_^ And a silvary bundle... and a darberus bundle... and and.... o3o I love bundles.... lol

.rousium 02-15-2011 01:10 PM

Lucky duck! But i'll get them soon enough. :) I'm actually questing instead of dumping a bunch of money on the site. I hope it will be more fun that way.

Archaic Kitten 02-15-2011 01:11 PM

Yeah I quest.... I'll end up buying runes from other users sometime soon... if I get the Au... XD

Pisces 02-15-2011 06:08 PM

X__X Sooo...tired.

If I were to go into the marketplace and try to buy a bundle, does it come all as one item, or are bundles just a term for a collective set of items and I'd have to buy those items individually?

Archaic Kitten 02-15-2011 06:11 PM

A bundle is a set of items, and you can buy the items all together or buy them seperately if the seller is doing so.
I've gotten a couple of bundles for 1k... but the bundle I'm after right now, the seller wants for 5k... o3o

.rousium 02-15-2011 06:12 PM

Not sure? But, this threads a really good thread. You might want to open it when you have lots of bandwidth tho. :P

Hmm...alright. XP Bundles might end up being a sort of headache, I foresee, lol.

SPeaking of headaches...Tempest, I love you and your energy, but right now is a BAD time. X_____X

femme gauche 02-15-2011 10:45 PM

Hullo! *scratches head* I luuurve animals. They are all so sweet!

.rousium 02-15-2011 10:48 PM

Aww...poor pielady has a headache? *makes mental note to self..but typing it out here..* :P

Hey there Femme! Welcome to the thread. :) Do you have pets?

femme gauche 02-15-2011 10:56 PM

I have two dogs; 12 and 2, and one cat; 13? Not sure of her age. She has been passed through a few households. Haha. The elder dog is Greta, an unknown mix who appears to have some German Shepherd and Pit Bull, among other things. The younger is Brody, a female Lab/Beagle mix, and the cat is Paisley... a tabby. XD.

.rousium 02-15-2011 10:58 PM

Awww! :) Yeah, we're super happy to talk pets here. Sometimes I think that the mixed guys are so much cuter then full bloods.

femme gauche 02-15-2011 11:00 PM

Yah, I am all about rescuing! I understand that some breeds were created for a purpose, but for the average family I think it is perfectly acceptable (and encouraged!) to adopt from a shelter.

.rousium 02-15-2011 11:02 PM

That's awesome of you. :) I just have two kittens right now. Well..they're almost three but they act like they're 3 months old. They were sort of a rescue. They were GOING to the shelter if I didn't take them. Makes me sad to think of them being there. Ugh..shelters, they just seem so cold and lonely.

femme gauche 02-15-2011 11:07 PM

Aw... yeah. :(. Of course, they are better than the streets. My mother and sister and myself were going to try and volunteer at our local shelter, but we became too busy. Still though, it is nice that those animals get at least a little bit of comfort and affection.

Ana 02-16-2011 12:00 AM

*wanders in* I've always gotten my kitties from local shelters, except for my two current ones. I got them from my landlady, who had gotten them from shelters, lol

femme gauche 02-16-2011 12:05 AM

Well, if you get them from someone else who can't take care of them anymore or something like that, I see that as pretty much being the same thing <3.

Ana 02-16-2011 12:25 AM

Hehe, yeah. ^^ My landlady is really into rescuing cats from shelters, but she can't always keep them permanently. She gave me Frisky, because when I moved in her really took to me and vise versa, plus he wasn't getting along with the other cats. Then a couple month later she asked me if i wanted to take Abby because the people who were supposed to take her backed out and she just really couldn't keep another kitty. So now I have two loveys <3

femme gauche 02-16-2011 12:32 AM

Aw, that's nice though :). It is always nice to see people willing to take care of these animals like that. I mean after all we created them, we ought to be able to care for them. Just like children.

Ana 02-16-2011 12:38 AM

Yeah, luckily she has a huge house, since she keeps slowly collecting more and more kitties, lol. She's not a "cat lady" though, you'd never realize how many cats she has in the house unless you actually see them all. She keeps the house super clean.

femme gauche 02-16-2011 12:48 AM

That's good xP. I think that is a silly sort of thing ot ridicule, though... it is just an echo of old times when unmarried women were pushed to the outskirts of their social environments xP. Obviously it is very different now, though.

Ana 02-16-2011 12:56 AM

Yeah, I can see that to a degree. But when I say "cat lady" I mean the kind that have too many cats in their house, to the point that they can't properly take care of them and the house smells and is dirty. To me "cat lady" isn't about how many cats you have or your social status, but whether or not you can properly care for the cats you've taken on.

femme gauche 02-16-2011 01:01 AM

Haha yeah , I know what you mean. It is like those "animal hoarders". :(. It is just sad. People get obsessive, they think they can take care of them all but they just cannot do it.

Ana 02-16-2011 01:06 AM

Yeah, hoarding of any kind is sad and really destructive for the lives of the people afflicted with the disorder. But when it's animals that the people are hoarding, that's even sadder, because it's not just the person that suffers but the animals.

femme gauche 02-16-2011 01:11 AM

Yeah, exactly :(. There was a case of it... like two years ago I think, here. There was a man who had like, 120 chihuahuas or something. I dunno, I think he passed on or something and no one knew until they found his house nad looked inside. The hygiene was so poorly attended that the house had to be torn down. Fortunately though, all of the rescued dogs found homes!

Ana 02-16-2011 01:15 AM

Oh wow. I'm glad all the dogs were able to find homes. Poor puppies.

Argh. My cats have started fighting all of a sudden. Or, if it's not true fighting, it's a type of playing that's uncomfortably intense to watch. They've never done that before. Until about a week ago, they always played nice.

femme gauche 02-16-2011 01:18 AM

Aw... eep it is always hard for me to tell with cats. XD.
