I haven't read a good fic in while.

I like going to conventions.

I have gone to a world costuming convention. That was fun.

I have also gone to the world SF convention - twice I believe.

I like SF conventions because I like to read fantasy novels.

There is usually a lot going on in the larger ones.

There is a video room for anime and giving cheesy things the MSK 3000 treatment.

There is a masquerade (costume contest) for cos-play and original outfits.

A dealers' room for books and things, and an art show with an auction.

A gaming room, and a snack lounge, and lots of pannels for discussing all sorts of topics.

Aahhh I miss cons.

Yeah. I have pretty much only gone to the local one for a while.

I had on early this month.

The local SF con here is in July.

I think they have a local anime one here in April, but I don't think I will have the money to go.

I like listening to panels, the evening entertainment, and sampling a bit of everything in the con when I go to one.
