I'm not entirely sure but where I lived I had split the rent between 4 people in a 2 bedroom apartment and it was $350 per person. So that makes $1400 a month, for an apartment! D8
I wouldn't say that it's entirely true that the pay is high enough to compensate for the higher cost of living. The minimum wage was only like a $1.50 more than where I live now and everything seemed to cost almost twice as much. @o@ |
That's how it rolls. They want you to be broke.
The economy could get better if rent wasn't so high. People would be able to spend money on things other than necessities only. |
Very true. D: Though if I didn't have student loans then I could afford a ton more stuff. xD;
|
Student loans also hurt that buying ability.
Luckily, I don't need to take any out. THIS IS MY LAST YEAR! Then I'll probably work at Wal-Mart. |
I wasn't saying it would cover it, .just be a little higher, at least.
|
But if it doesn't really cover the difference, it's screwing people over then. Which is why I still live at home....our job market sucks and our biggest employer in the area just closed down about 2 weeks ago.

I went to lay down, I took a nap. I accidental slept for three and a half/four hours. |
Hey, sleep is a great thing. I love it :3
|
Sleep is usually goods~ :3

SOOOO. I might have a UTI. ( no it isn't a STD lollol ) ._____. |
D:
I know how you feel. I couldn't go to the doctor when I thought I had one...so my kidneys could be damaged now .-. |
D; even if it costs an arm and a leg it is always good to go to the doctors when those happen :C
|
Mother couldn't afford it. So I felt like I had to pee constantly until I retrained my body to go every four hours.
I also sat with one leg under me the entire time pretty much and it would go numb .-. |
:C *huggles softly*
|
-huggles-
But I think it went away. My sister in law got me some of those pills from Wal-Mart....that's supposed to like hold it off until you can go to the doctor. So it went away after awhile :3 |
Well be carefuls, okies? ^//^;
