Data as in phone plan? Have you tried using the free wifi in some places to reduce the amount of data that you use? That's how I keep my data less than a megabyte but doing that. ^^;

Mobile data for my computer - we don't have internet at the flat, because we can't afford a line on only one income, and I can't find work. :(
South Africa doesn't really do the "free wifi" thing, and I don't trust open networks in any case. It's way too easy for hackers to pose as open networks at coffee shops etc. and then get all your info. The Hubs is in internet security, amongst other things, and he'd go bananas if I used an open network. LOL |
Ah, see we have places here that have a 'free wifi' but you have to buy something from the location and get the password for it. I thought you were on a phone or something, which is why I mentioned it. x'D Yeah, don't do that if you're using a computer.

I am up WAY past bedtime. I was trying to stay up til midnight because my data contract has "free" data between 12am and 5am, so I wanted to take advantage of it to download something. So I made it to midnight, yawning all the way, and got my download going. Now it's almost 1am and I'm wide awake again. T_T |

There's actually been a few times I've thought about taking a sleep aid, but I usually go to sleep easily so I figured it would be a waste of money. x'D

I've actually suffered chronic insomnia from birth. So almost 30 years. I've spent approximately a third of my life being medicated for it, with little success.
I find it a lot easier to sleep when The Hubs is around, but I am still a very light sleeper and once I'm awake it takes me ages to fall asleep again. :( |

Not being able to sleep properly sucks. It just sucks. Sleep has such a huge impact on our lives, on our relationships, on our ability to focus and talk and work... Bleh.
And I'm extra grumpy today because my right foot would not stop cramping all night, and I got totally devoured by mosquitoes. :( I should be psyched right now because we leave tomorrow to go up to the city (where my family is) for a couple days, and I'm gonna spend time with my mom, and hang out with my buddies, and eat a ton of the most amazing Greek food. But I am not psyched. I am very not psyched at all, and that sucks too. T_T |

Well, it's 3:45am, I'm washing bedding (so I can it can be dry when we get back) and waiting for The Hubs to be done in the bathroom, and then I am going to have as cool a shower as I can and wash my hair before I pack.
A nice, long, hot soak would be awesome except that it's been like 35°C for the last 28 hours. Anyway, I'm feeling a lot better about the trip this morning. Guess I was just a little run down before. |
