I like the puzzles that don't involve math since i suck at math

Drakath 10-26-2011 09:46 PM

Same, I'm surprised I know any math at all, It's hard fro me, but everything else, reading, writing, etc, it all comes so easy to me. XD

Lost_Ninja9213 10-26-2011 09:52 PM

i do ok at math, to a certain point, but my writing is not very good. i have problems writing essays often..

Drakath 10-26-2011 09:54 PM

I tend to over do it with essays. i had to two today for the writing portion of a big test, and I filled three and a half pages each, with long paragraphs and I write small.
I feel bad for the person grading ti but i couldn't help it.

Lost_Ninja9213 10-26-2011 09:55 PM

wow, thats impressive!!! i tend to be on the shorter essay side..if its handwritten then part of it is my small handwriting, but i dont like long writing, so i tend to not write a lot myself. unless im reading Robert Jordan, then i can stand to read wordy books.

Drakath 10-26-2011 09:58 PM

I tend to write a lot on a lot of things, when i do short response questions to need to write less i will limit myself but i like long works of literature.

O.O
Chocobo...watcha talkin about willace.

Lost_Ninja9213 10-26-2011 10:02 PM

i tried to read Atlas Shrugged, and i was actually impressed on how she made a wordy book interesting. some books though, i want more action and less description on how the wind makes peoples clothes move.

edit: ooh i see. o.O

Drakath 10-26-2011 10:05 PM

I like detail but more on scenery and the characters' profile, normally in books where the looks of the character are important.
I also like being told back history on the setting's history and scuh.

OMG Lol. I recognize that line. XDD

Lost_Ninja9213 10-26-2011 10:06 PM

i dont mind in the beginning, but i think what made me want more stuff to happen was in the wheel of time books, where the author kept going off about how much cleavage was on the womens' dresses. -_-

Drakath 10-26-2011 10:07 PM

XD i was hopi9ng someone would. XD
Oooh Gary Coleman.
*Ahem*
*stares at computer*

Edit: if you're doing a fast description or talking about a woman who was supposed to show it off it's fine but i dont want to read that all of the time.

Lost_Ninja9213 10-26-2011 10:09 PM

yeah it got old fast. but the books were still good enough for me to read XP it was the one thing i didnt like

Drakath 10-26-2011 10:11 PM

Even in a lot of the books i love i find something i do like.
For example in the Amber series at times did get a bit long winded with detail but they are fun books.

Lost_Ninja9213 10-26-2011 10:17 PM

Amber series? whats it about?
