Yay for losing some pounds!
And eating healthy! I can't get rid of the sugarfree sodas <.< |
it'd be easier for me to eat healthy if I wasn't so particular about what I eat. a lot of the stuff my folks like to eat doesn't really appeal to me all that much.
|
Ah, a picky eater!
I like leaves, so eating salad is ok to me. |
Picky eater who has to be careful about certain foods.
|
Oh, you're allergic/intolerant :<
|
Does it count as picky when the person in charge of cooking believes that it's killing yourself to salt the pasta or rice?
|
My family is japanese, so we eat unsalted rice all the time xD
|
Without any seasoning whatsoever? Not even a little nori or soy?

As for picky... I grew up eating a Midwestern US diet. as I got older and exposed to more cuisine outside of what I knew, I began to prefer that to what I grew up eating. so now, I like exploring the culinary world. I still like some of the stuff I grew up eating, but we don't have the stuff to make it very often, and when we do, the base starch is almost always bland and unappealing because my mom won't salt the cooking water. |
Nothing, no salt, no oil |D just rice.
Ah, i'm intolerant but I eat it anyway xDD the diarrhea is worth it to me. |
mdom, I know you're proud of yourself, but saying things like that can make it seem like you're putting down people who don't choose to spend hours in the bathroom. This is not trying to be mean. It's just feedback. We love you anyhow.
|
Ah, no, i'm not proud of it <.<
the emoticon should be more like xD;; It's more like 'I'm being a fat hungry person over thinking of my well being' situation' and I hope no one takes it as me advising it >.> |
@Den: I'm so proud of you for going through this to take care of yourself! I'm sure it hasn't been easy. And I understand the Midwest diet, I live with my grandparents currently and that is exactly how they eat. Everything is so bland... Interestingly I grew up eating more... Carribean food. The other side of my family is Puerto Rican. And as I got older I got to see them less and less. So now it's pork chops and potatoes for dinner :/
@mdom: I would not be able to tolerate diarreah, but hey if it's worth it to you, then get at it xD I'm gluten intolerant. It makes me crampy and gross and gives me headaches and acne. But certain things are definitely worth the pain once in a while xD |
If I had access to enough rice, I'd happily eat it every day, for every meal. it's one of the few things I would happily eat regularly. when I do get rice, it's usually just a small bag, and that lasts maybe a day or two at best.
|
I'm also gluten intolerant. And it's made a bit worse by my even more severe intolerance for potato, because SO much gluten free stuff has potato in it! The wonderful non dairy cheese I got the other day had POTATO that I missed reading on the first go. And having my brain malfunction just is not worth the joy of tasty cheese. I'm derpy enough already. XD
|
I'd rather have the derpy head, instead of poopsplosions if I eat something that doesn't agree with me.
