Hello, all! What's up?
*Looks for Vivi and Kiki to tickle*

Edit: Added a link to documents on the Salem Witch Trials, as well as tutorials on Python, the Unity gaming engine (Most common indie game engines: Unreal, Unity, RPG Maker, and FPS Creator)...as well as Flash and some relics of modding.

Espy 06-26-2014 10:35 AM

-drops in- Hey all.

...Yeah, I don't really plan on ever getting married, haha.

Lawtan 06-26-2014 01:05 PM

I actually love kids, but yeah...I sort of have a "Venus, you can go to Tartarus" thing. I may adopt if/when I have a stable living.

Den 06-26-2014 01:46 PM

Setting up stuff at BritishFest. I'm getting volunteer hours for helping. I've been doing stuff since 8 AM... so if I go back to where I'm staying around 4, that's 8 hours. Which means I'll just need to do 8 more hours of work over the next three days to have my ticked refunded. :)

Lawtan 06-26-2014 03:55 PM

Apparently, I have a strong negative trigger to surprise touching. Especially when it has force. Especially when it is on the front of my body.

...I just had my mind halfway shut down, blindly put distance between myself and the situation, couldn't speak, and broke down...because a dog I'd trust with my life jumped up on me in over-excitement. This was not a conscious decision.

Could someone please explain why?

Tam I am 06-26-2014 09:05 PM

Lawtan, that sounds like a flashback. *HUG* I kinda did similar awhile back when someone waved pliers at me and offered dental work, only I was clinging to another friend and shaking.

Den and others, I did all my kid raising before I hit Den's age, methinks.

Den 06-26-2014 09:06 PM

*tips over* Seven and a half hours of setting up things for a local convention. means I'm almost halfway to getting my ticket price completely refunded.

Tam I am 06-26-2014 10:04 PM

So once you have it all clocked in, you can goof off?

Den 06-26-2014 10:25 PM

I'm volunteered for hours on all three days. the rest of the time, I can skivv off.

Lawtan 06-26-2014 10:46 PM

-clings to Tam- Thanks. I was sort of afraid of that (has happened before - last fall and winter)

As a note: "Ich bin ein Berliner" is the funniest thing John F. Kennedy ever said in a televised speech. (even though it being funny is only a grammatical thing, and not technically wrong)

*snerk* That is funny.

Speaking of skivving off, I kinda wish you'd been here today to skivv off with me. I had fun, but company would have made it better. Ask me for details when we IM later.

*big hug and a pat pat* Flashbacks stink. It's like being mentally and emotionally broadsided.

*snickerfitdie* Oh, that is funny. Poor guy. *cackle*

Den 06-28-2014 02:02 AM

tomorrow/later today, I'm going to see about only working one or two hours. I'll have 'Maru with me then, and will be able to get on the wifi at fairly regular intervals (hopefully).

I got within three feet (actually, prolly closer to two feet) to Mark Ryan. *spaz*

Tam I am 06-28-2014 02:50 PM

And the guy wasn't traumatized. I'm impressed!

Lawtan 06-28-2014 08:32 PM

Mark Ryan? Wer ist ihn?

Update: Visual Basic and other Programming Tutorials (including some oldies), as well as a link to Vocabulix, an engine that helps with vocabulary and tense for other languages. :D

Lawtan 06-28-2014 09:35 PM

I found an Internet Relic!

Tam I am 06-28-2014 11:44 PM

0.o Relic?

Oyster ketchup. Other non tomato ketchup. I found reference to walnut ketchup and mushroom ketchup in 'David Copperfield', so I looked up the mushroom one and found all these others. I didn't look up a walnut ketchup recipe.

Den 06-29-2014 03:56 AM

Lawtan, Mark Ryan is a British actor. He's most well known for his rolls in "Robins of Sherwood", "Black Sails", and "Transformers" (Jetfire in "Revenge of the Fallen", Bumblebee in the first "Transformers" movie by Michael Bay, and Lockdown in the newest movie), among other roles.

Tam I am 06-29-2014 03:34 PM

Den, d'you mean "roles"?

Lawtan 06-29-2014 04:40 PM

I added the Oyster Ketchup :)

Ahh...I'd know him from Robins of Sherwood.
(Not as big a fan of the Michael Bay Transformers)

Den 06-29-2014 08:47 PM

Tam, yes. Yes I did. Take a look at the timestamp, to get a sense of my state of mind at the time. lol.

Lawtan, I got him to say something funny.

I like the bots, but I hate the movies. Wouldn't even watch any after the first one. Though the comic books aren't as bad.

Absent? *hug*

Extremely. Two nights in a row, I didn't get to sleep until after 12 AM.

Espy 06-30-2014 02:54 AM

Wait, when do you usually sleep?

Fauxreal 06-30-2014 11:10 AM

OMG! I can't keep up with these kids! I made a smart choice not having children.

Tam I am 06-30-2014 03:01 PM

*sympathy for Faux* Reading your posts over the course of their visit it kinda amusing, though.

*offers everyone sweet potato fries/chips with oyster ketchup*

Lawtan 06-30-2014 03:56 PM

Yumm! Thanks, Tam!

Hmm, what are you trying to do with them, Faux?

I Finally changed my Avi!

Den 06-30-2014 10:11 PM

Lawtan, your av is creepy as all *BLEEP*.

Lawtan 06-30-2014 10:23 PM

Thank you, Den. That was fully the intent.

MUAHAHAHHAHHAHAH!!!!
:p-evil:

Tam I am 06-30-2014 11:42 PM

That is SOME change. Kinda reminds me of the crustacean men that attacked the Axelon in that one log I did from back when Spazz was a new character.

(Spazz is a Transformer OC. A Sewercon who was named for her ability to put out a frequency that caused other bots to panic.)

Den 07-01-2014 02:32 AM

Oh! Tam, did you share a link to the stuff we write for the peeps here?

Lawtan 07-01-2014 11:36 AM

I think...maybe...Tam gave me a link to something like that.

Lawtan 07-01-2014 02:44 PM

This is in the Blog section

Tam I am 07-01-2014 08:49 PM

Yup yup. Lawtan has it up on the shelf.

Lawtan 07-02-2014 03:03 AM

...On a creepy note, I had a scare while dreaming. (Espy trigger warning due to mold/fungus)

Yeah...again, my imagination want to either thrill me, or kill me (or, more importantly, kill those around me)

Den 07-02-2014 08:44 AM

0_0 that is scary, Lawtan! *hug*

Tam I am 07-02-2014 02:55 PM

*hugga Lawtan* That's nearly as scary as the story I read where something out of an old canning jar was eating a kid's mom and they had to mercy kill her.

Lawtan 07-02-2014 04:07 PM

*Hugs back* It wasn't the scariest I've ever had, but it was rather creepy.

Hmm...I had a thought of creating a Trisphee art museum...thoughts?

Kilala Mikal 07-02-2014 07:39 PM

*stereotypical Kilala flail through before settling into a corner*

Hai all!

Lawtan 07-02-2014 08:07 PM

*giant glomph for Kilala*
KIRARA!!!!
