I have to figure out why, when I said I need to do a 1040EZ, that H&R Block is trying to make me do a 1040 and charge me. -Growls.-

Hmm...no idea. I don't understand taxes and the like so much.....heh...

I understand looking at a pay stub, W-2, etc., and understanding why they took out certain things, but when it comes time to file them....*makes a whoosh sound and hand flying over head*

I gather it. I only need to do a 1040EZ, but they're forcing me to do the 1040 with the deductions. I have no reason to deduct a damn thing.

Hmmmm....gotta love those tax companies. I'm guessing it costs more to file the full 1040 instead of just the 1040EZ?

-Nods- I'm suppose to be able to fill out a 1040 EZ federal free. And I am also eligible for the free NY one because I make under a certain amount. But H&R Block is being difficult right now. Mom is going to help me. I've thought about asking for her tax lady to help me, but it would be about $50, which is a third of what I'm expecting back for federal.

Ouch....that sucks. Can't say I've ever been a fan of H&R Block for that reason....they seem to be difficult, and what I've heard about them is botched tax forms and less of a return than the person should have gotten. I haven't dealt with them personally though....
