I think my food stamps are gonna be coming back :3 they took me off cause something expired (i was on a list for work or something to work the food stamps off but they didn't have a place to put me so when my thing expired i got taken off the list) the reason they didn't have room was because people asking for cash assistance is too great and they had to place them at the food assistance job sites >o Those Job sites.. are like my only chance at gaining exp and then finding a REAL job!

dont count on 'eating better' they dont give you much money but it helps.. and good healthy food is expensive. one person gets about 100-200 bucks and that doesn't last all month.. Mom gets about 200 some.. and I had a little over 100. if you want it to last all month dont buy expensive foods.. ;-;

I probably only spend about $100 a month on food for myself...but it's hard to keep track of because I don't go shopping regularly, and some weeks I eat significantly less than others.

OxO yea... that would be a big improvement *gives you beefironis*

mom and I barely made it to the end of the month with mine and hers.. but thats be cause she has this obsession with swans food...

ugh we need hamburger.. we had got a pack of it.. it was supposed to be 'freshly ground' and stuff.. 2 days later it was alllll bad D8 I didn't get to make my chili ;-; we are NEVER shopping at that giant eagle again ><

It looked 100% fine when we got it.. it just spoiled faster for some reason.. >< the meat we get at our gaint eagle never spoiled fast.. it takes a little over a week for it to spoil.. the gaint eagle Lynn took us too... it spoiled super fast =(

We've found that it's far cheaper to buy plain food than anything packaged or prepared. A box of pasta and pasta sauce is usually cheaper than in equivalent about of canned stuff, though it's not always as good.

I don't eat a lot of condiments, but I could get by on snagging stuff everytime the opportunity showed up. For instance, pocketing sugar packets if I was at a restaurant, or asking for extra ketchup, mustard, etc. if I happen to get fast food. My mom and I always have tea when we are out, but I like strong tea and she likes weak so we would use the same bag and stash the other one for later at home.

I don't much about cooking, but I picked up enough basic things to cook vegetables and such, which for me was worlds cheaper than buying mucrowave meals. Oddly, less of a hassle too.

We're okay for money here, but sometimes things stretch pretty close to the line. I saved a lot of money a few years ago so I'm running off that while I'm looking for another job or more school. I'm very glad I was living frugal back then.

once we get my food stamps back we should be good.. my mom doesn't know how to put money aside. (which is why she's asking others to do it for her so we can move) x.x

haha yea :3 I felt bad that the charity hasn't given anything out yet so I made a new system to go in with the old one x3
