The only medicine that work for me, when I have a headache, are so strong, I rather not take them

Silverbleed 04-11-2011 08:41 AM

Yeah ditto. I already had a migraine yesterday but I wanted to try and go the next day without them. But my migraine wasn't gone the next morning =( So I decided to take them or I'd risk throwing up cause of the pain in my head @__@

The Evil Twin 04-11-2011 08:50 AM

It takes a lot to make me throw up. I do get dizzy when I have a headache for a couple of days. Then my body just wants me to lay down

Silverbleed 04-11-2011 09:02 AM

With a migraine it's possible for me. They're pretty intense and I've had them since I was six. My parents thought at first I was just a wuss and tries to stay home. I walked around with it till I was 14 years old, when I got send home by my teachers. We went to the doctor and he said I had a heavy kind of migraine. And I've walked around with it for years =_=
(I get them every once in a week)

The Evil Twin 04-11-2011 09:14 AM

I had that from when I was 11 until I was 19 or so. I had them at least once a week. Lately I get them about once a month

Silverbleed 04-11-2011 09:21 AM

Lucky you. I still get them plenty. Ever since I went to college it got worse and the amount of times increased. Before like on high school it was only once a month or two months too.
I hope I can find out why I have them, it's really annoying. I've already found out I'm allergic for MSG (E621/smaakversterkers), but there's something else. I also already take Magnesiumpills and it made my migraines lighter. But it doesn't stop them.

The Evil Twin 04-11-2011 09:23 AM

It can be a lot of things. For me it was because I'm not too good with lactose (not really allergic). I cut that back and then they migraines got less

Silverbleed 04-11-2011 09:25 AM

Lactose huh?
Hmm I could try that. I've had a lot of milk and cheese stuff sunday o_o So it could explain things. But it would SUCK because I looooove that stuff.

The Evil Twin 04-11-2011 09:28 AM

I also love it, but every time I eat/drink anything with milk, I get a migraine. It can get worse over the years, when you don't know it and keep eating it.
There are a lot of good soy products nowadays, that you can buy everywhere. You don't have to miss too much

Silverbleed 04-11-2011 09:42 AM

But I don't like the taste of it D:

The Evil Twin 04-11-2011 09:44 AM

But what if it helps against migraines? I think it was worth it. I eat some products with milk every now and then, like ice cream, but then the next day I remember why I shouldn't eat it

Silverbleed 04-11-2011 09:54 AM

I'll try it for a week and see what happens =O If nothing happens, I'll try another week and still then I got no migraine then I'll try eating it again and see what happens then xD

The Evil Twin 04-11-2011 09:55 AM

That's how I did it *nods*
But my headache is slowly disappearing, so that's good

Silverbleed 04-11-2011 09:57 AM

Milk is in so many products tho... can you eat cheese freely without having a migraine?

The Evil Twin 04-11-2011 10:00 AM

Some how I can eat French cheese, but normal Dutch cheese is a no no for me

Silverbleed 04-11-2011 10:02 AM

That is strange. But I don't like French cheese either ._. Lmao. I'm picky like that. I only like Young Cheese.
