Also, one of the links in the library was removed, and I am unable to find a replacement "book" - the author has apparently claimed copyright (Fully in his right, though it saddens me as I hoped that by including the public domain source, it could interest more people in his thoughts)

I have instead included a link to purchase his work, anf found a source on Camus (Philosophy: Absurdism - that the human quest for understanding, morality, and purpose is potentially absurd. They may not exist, however as long as one can understand that and continue trying, they are like heroes against the impossible...and some good may come from even flawed attempts to explain and find purpose in the universe. It compares us to Sisyphus.)

What languages other than English do the peeps who chill here speak? *curious* I can speak very basic German, a few phrases in French, similar in Japanese, and can hold a very simple conversation in Spanish (though it wouldn't take me long to get back into being nearly fluent).

XD Yes, with Den's help. Because I can SAY some German (but I fail at some of the neat sounds), and I can find it and understand it in my dictionary, but do you think I can spell it?

I still use bits of it in my writing. It's too fun not to.

As to languages,
I know a moderate amount of German, enough Latin to get by, and a bit of Koine Greek.

XD I have a bit of Latin too. Mostly horticultural, but enough to be able to look at an English word and work out from the Latin roots what that English word means.

I should learn a little Latin. But I'm so laaaaaazy!

We've got a few events going on this weekend: BritishFest and Railroad Days. I've e-mailed my dad about the Railroad Days, because he likes trains. I'm volunteering at BritFest.

It's a celebration of all things British. I'm scrambling to get my Doctor Who scarf done so people can spot me easily (Not that they wouldn't be able to anyway, with my Jetfire wings as well. lol) as I go about the con as a volunteer.
