he never really bothered with ST but then saw the latest movie and was like OMFG I LOVE THIS
and watched a couple episodes of the original and liked them a lot
swweeeet i can get him to watching that, and then move on to TNG like i want =w=

I'm kind of shocked that you actually liked the series after seeing the movie.

Because the series (all of them, really) are nooooothing like the movie. I suppose the Original Series is the most like it, because it's got the same characters, but for the most part the series takes itself a lot more seriously than the movie did. The Next Generation especially had very little comic relief.

I come from a Star Trek family. There are home videos of me as a baby with ST: TNG playing in the background. xD

I never got into Star Trek's television series, only ever watched the movies.

Goddamnit, I need a break from Star Trek. Last night I had an odd dream (but no odder than most) and when I woke up, there were random images of Spock floating in front of my eyes.

Lol, I had a dream last night that sorta came true today. This person I never talk to/rarely see in the hall introduced them self to me, and they did so in my dream last night too!
