Do you ever watch Fails of the Weak? It's videos of Halo: Reach fails with commentary. Quite funny, I think.

You can vacuum it up, or sweep. Its not really that bad.

Maybe one should just leave the confetti until it is so ground up, it becomes one with the carpet.
