That is so cool!! I'm really not that great.... I'm more of an essay writer.... creative writing doesn't come very easily to me, but i love it.

I hope you didn't mix up tho 8D For some reason people mix Dutch with German, lol. Cause it's so much alike. It's pretty hilarious.
Makes it easier for us too if you'd like to learn German. I can understand it a little, however their grammar is really complicated.
Tho, so is ours... we got multiple words for 'the'. And there are no rules when to use which for which object.

I know the difference between dutch and german. i took a semester of german last year. it was super difficult for me. I kept thinking in spanish!

Silverbleed 02-18-2011 04:46 AM

Hahaah that sucks xD but Spanish is totally different from German!
I remember having class at French first, then we had a switch of 2 minutes into English class. I was still thinking in French in English class. It sucked XDD

It was like 'the pain' or 'le bread' bwhahah

I know that spanish and german is so different! That's why it was so difficult!! i would translate to spanish then german.... it was so confusing!

I hated the Das and Die in Germany. We've got exactly the same in Dutch, but at least they have rules when to use which. We don't have that with 'het' or 'de'. (Both meaning 'the').
Like, there's been a serious discussion on tv wether it's 'de zout' or 'het zout'. ("Would you like to pass me the salt?")

In the end they decided it's 'het' lol

Airina 02-18-2011 04:55 AM

Oh dear!! I hated that! That totally failed that quiz....

Silverbleed 02-18-2011 05:00 AM

I passed, but I can't remember much anymore. That was 6 years ago, hahah xD
I only remember simple things, like the French sentence; "Je ne parlez pas Fraincais" (I can't do the komma+c thing).
I know more German tho. If I'd say the same as above it would be something like "Ich kann keine Deutsch sprechen."

Airina 02-18-2011 05:03 AM

As soon as I was done with that class i forgot like everything! I had to take a bit of french in elementary school.... hated it. but i was always glad that i never had to sing a solo in french. I did in german and it was so much fun!!!

Silverbleed 02-18-2011 05:07 AM

I only had 2 years French and German, yet I had German at the finals. Which sucked. I'm so glad I passed with a shiny B+. Don't ask me how, my classmates that were better failed or had lower grades.

I hated French too. The only thing I'm good at is 'speaking it well'. But that's all. I forgot ALL the stuff, grammar, words, everything. Just stupid words like 'le pain' and uh.....

iono lol.

Airina 02-18-2011 05:10 AM

Yeah I don't remember anything from french.... and I like singing german much better than speaking it. I don't have to think about conjugating verbs I just have to memorize it.

Silverbleed 02-18-2011 05:14 AM

There's only a few songs I like in German.
Their last one was a big hit here. I love it xD http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBjDZMJUduo

Airina 02-18-2011 05:20 AM

I was singing classical songs in german. Like, Mein glaubiges hertze, das vielchen, and vergebliches standchen. i think that that was it for german.

Silverbleed 02-18-2011 05:35 AM

*Sings with song*
"Nein... ich will nicht... ich will noch ein keinen bitschen tanzen 8D"

Airina 02-18-2011 05:37 AM

That was a fun song!!

Silverbleed 02-18-2011 05:39 AM

Yeah, I love it when the DJ plays it. Imagine the whole club singing that song when it's playing lol.
