I actually really dislike the taste of rum. I prefer hard cider to rum, vodka, and other sorts of hard liquor.
EDIT: Law, you also have more body mass than me, and I have size, biology, and ethnicity all working against my alcohol tolerance. |
I may sign up as well for the avi contest.
Query: are the green letters encrypted? True. (May not be from ethnicity...considering that alcoholism does run in my family) Still, I don't think what I drink would be negative to you (the 2 shots was the max. I usually only use about a tablespoon of rum mixed with some sweet tea.) |
Somehow I can imagine you as a barkeep, Espy. XP haha.
I'd try it.(maybe) There WAS this one time someone mixed a drink with like... mountain dew and cherries and it wasn't half bad at least. Still, I try to stay innocent on drinks for whatever reasons. :p @ Law ; -tugs on the law- xD And I don't believe they're 'encrypted'? Unless you mean jumbled up, because yes, they arn't always in the right order~ x3 |
Oh, I'd try it as long as it was someone I trusted (Espy counts there)
...but I am somewhat paranoid, as I come from the place where kids try to poison other kids/teacher's drinks. |
That's... kind of scary...
Why do they do that, again? Bad parenting or influence/peer pressure? :p |
Well, a 30 minute drive will take you to a town (Father's hometown).
The main street has (I can't remember how many...20? 40? 80?) sex offenders...with the school also on that road. Also, several water sources (Not the main river - is still okay) are known for contaminants (nuclear testing, furniture factory that dumped pollutants.)... we love our 2-headed physically hermaphroditic fish/frogs. |
Dude. Even 20 sex offenders is horrible. 80 would make it technically the whole town. XD
Sounds like it's in good need of a serious cleaning up, in everywhere and everything. Most likely, no one will do anything though. Tis how it always is. Things are left there to rot until it gets to a point where it -forces- others to take action. |
Or actually rots. I've found that people now don't even do things when they need to be done.
*sighs* #hopeisforthenaive |
Yeah. It's a shame, indeed.
I'm currently zoning out on how the way things have progressed this far, technologically and economically, could be affecting the way people deal with such problems today. Because I'm wanting to say I'm certain it hasn't always been like this? If there was a problem in the earlier days, it was dealt with, then and there. (dammit I have to stop this. xD) |
That may have been more true before the industrial revolution (before really starting to deal with things that we did not know could really mess things up)
I need to stop doing that, too. Way too easy to be negative nowadays. Hope is for the naive. I value naivete for that. |
Yeah, things today are always 'easier!' 'better!' 'bigger!' 'faster!' or what have you, sometimes even in ignorance to what the long term effects may be, especially in cases where it's a hurry to get it even on the market.
But alas, I know you don't enjoy these types of conversations, so I'll end it there. I'm pretty naive myself. I like it. xD And no, i ment , I have to stop being like. smart. and talking about big things. hit me good and hard, Lawman. DX |

-clings to- How's your day been? |
It is not that I don't enjoy the conversation. It is just not good for anyone to harp on problems without developing a solution to them.
|
Yeah, but I fear all we common people can do is talk, as we can do nothing unless we can get a viable group of people together. Which is no small task.
Perhaps Lawman should be president. XD |
That promotes so many cynical laughs in me.
Part of me would like to get such a group together, but right now I am focusing on getting things together and through. |
