Haha, I was just looking for a place to chat, and certain titles appeal to me less for some reason so I don't go in those threads, or even if I do because the title bothers me I end up forgetting that I've gone in there XD.

Yeah. I go for hangout threads with an appealing title, and then look at the premise.

The only reason I can remember that I posted in a thread is because of the little arrow beside the thread button that tells me.

Haha yeah, certain titles are like "bleh, that does not sound appealing"... which, is actually somewhat important as if you don't like the title chances are people will also say things / talk in a way that you don't necessarily like XD.

Yup! That is why the theme is almost as important as the people in a thread to me.

Yeah pretty much that is why I try to make the Ruby Room as open and inclusive as possible xP because that is the sort of thing that draws me into a place.

Yes polite and friendly is good. I do a lot of rummaging as well. A lot of the really popular threads pertain to subjects with which I do not associate, or use language (not swears or something like that, just the general way they talk in the first post) which I don't particularly like. Then I'll look to old threads, unfortunately often they do not get so much attention!
