ew, toe socks are gross IMO, and they'd not really count as 'shoes' to most cons.

I just know what I was told, have a feeling it was more than 'I got in trouble for getting angry the other day and today when I got angry again they fired me.' I mean, cabbage KNEW they were on the last write up, the hell.
