oh no thats too bad.

Dx I got myself into a pickle. I just got a new job and they wanted to to start right away I mean tomorrow! which is fine but I am supposed to be working at my other job on Saturday but I told them I could switch it. But we are so understaffed that I only have one person to ask and she seemed hesitant. this will look really bad on me if I can't get Saturday off. *sigh*

oh no having to work outside is too much!

there is this bakery by my house that has a wood burning over and all sorts of other bakery stuff and no A/C! it's terrible they must have be dieing today! and the past few days as well!

I'm not a huge blueberry fan, but blackberries and raspberries are the BEST EVER. <3

at least it's a tasty job! one for me one for the basket.

D: oh gosh, I can't eat that early either. berries in the morning aren't too bad, but the only thing I can really eat in the morning is granola or a toasted bagel.

I know how you feel I have to get up at 5:30am to get to my new job.

I love berries, I just don't get to eat them that often.

My sister's neighbour has a field we are allowed to raid but didn't happen this year so far. He's got blueberries.

My mom had a huge garden with lots of berry plants that we would attack every year and she would makek jam and pie filling. My sister's dogs eventually figured out that they were tasty so eventually we had to race them to get to the rasberries. My sister's old female "Djali" in particular. She would wrap her tongue around the rasberry and just sorta suck the thing off the stem. Don't think she liked the goosberries or currants much though. She would leap to get the apples and plums.

Sounds like a cute dog, Quiet :3 The place where my parents lived when I lived with them had a bunch of black and blueberry bushes. There's nothing quite like eating fresh berries right off the bush...kind of messy though.

Yeah. I always tried to be really carefull but still got dark finger tips.

I miss that house. We even had an asian apple pear tree. It was just dumb luck that our pear tree was one of the four types that were able to polinate with it. My mom had piles of berries adn some other fruit; strawberries, rhubarb, alpine strawberries (love those :), the apples trees and the pear tree. We had logan berries growing off the compost heap fence.

Our plum tree there never grew a darn thing but we could trade with the neighbour for some of her blackberries, zuchinni, and plums. She had huge zuchinni plants.

We had potatoes too thar rampaged under the strawberries one year. We found them when we were digging out the strawberry patch. We had tomatoes and herbs around too. Lemon balm that rampaged everywhere, and one rosemary bush that for some reason did really really well. I used to like eating the tops of the fennel, and some manner of edible blue star looking flower that apparently goes on salads sometimes.

When I used to live in California we had an avocado tree...I really miss it. I adore avocados and they are usually so expensive >< They are probably one of my favorite foods.
