The Yuffie Character. . . there's not really an overall place for her. She was an obtainable character if you wanted her, but you didn't really have to. I suppose that's what you seem like.
the mystic seer who helps you on your adventure but disapars just as fast.
The slightly crazy jester character who you run across, but they don't stay very long.

An oracle that controls nature's seasons and gets captured by the great general Onox. . . and so a hero that you and your caravan only met once must save you... please someone get that... too specific to not get it.

The game controller who has to plug in the controllers and game console to play.

A silent hill enemy. . .
The tech nerd that gets pulled into the game to compete as the main character. >3<;;
The younger sister of one of the main characters. She doesn't fight, but when you go back home, she's always there to give the party a place to rest. Every now and then, she'll also tell you that she found an item and gives it to you (usually a potion or something similar, but can sometimes be very valuable).
The shop npc that sells you the best upgrades ^_^
The second hand to the final boss who you must defeat before even having a chance to beating the game. However, after she is killed, she comes back again after the final boss to try and eliminate you again, and is never truly slain.
The character with the uber powers whose powers are really really uber but damn she's hard to keep alive so you can use her uber powers of ur-uber and damn it's frustrating but damn you want the uber!
The unearthly and all-powerful demigod whose reincarnation you have attempted but failed to stop throughout the entire game and now must face and defeat in this final battle or else the entire universe will fall into slavery, ruin, and eternal damnation. |
That bad guy lieutenant of the main bad guy that you have to keep fighting all the time because just when you're about to kill him he has to run off and do other things. He's annoying to fight because he's so fancy that he taunts you by wearing a blindfold and each time you fight him you have to sit through the cut scene of him sticking his blindfold on and then finally at the last fight the hero manages to cut if off but something comes up and he runs off again. >.<

^ Ha!
A tutorial demi-god that somehow dies halfway through the game |
That mini-boss you encounter halfway/near the end of the game who's extremely agile and fast and likes to do parkour around the entire area to avoid all of your attacks. Also has an unordinarily long whip that can stretch to 10 times its normal length. |
The first challenging boss that you fight, and you eventually look online for cheats on how to beat.

Side character that knows magic. . . |

Not a direct reply to this thread, but HM >:I |
It was a reference to Lulu from Final Fantasy X. I promise, Vader. I'm not hitting on your Froggy lady. *hug*
Anyway, Semi-Final boss. Right before the actual final battle. |
A glitch character who is a strange pallet swap of an NPC. She's not supposed to exist, but through certain codes and hacks, she is a playable character. Though playing as her results in corrupt data and all kinds of weird glitches throughout play.
The transcended form of the hero that gets used once in the end of the game, and briefly in the sequel until their powers get taken away. . . cheat code in the third game.

A native american man who roamed the woods of his land and eventually ended up as the American Revolution's most successful assassin that ended up talking about aliens in some way. . . >.>
The technology guy who's supposed to help you at the beginning, sort of like a guide. owo
The shadow cat demon that is an uncommon and fairly frustrating enemy to fight because they teleport everywhere to avoid attacks by using their purple bats. |
. . . Nevan, Darth?
A miniboss that was not very simple to beat due to all of the side enemies and blades. . . Srsly. . . you'd die 10 times before you're like "Fuck it" and use the Konami Code. |
Oh, fuck, I remember that bitch from DMC3. I hated her so bad, but that guitar was so badass and amazing... goddamn it, now I have to listen to this. That mini-boss that you have to fight who you cannot beat; you're scripted to lose against them because they're too powerful for you to fight at the level you are. A bit like the first Pyramid Head fight in Silent Hill; he's just invincible until enough time passes. |
Some kind of mini-boss that lets on clues if you manage to defeat him. That or the mysterious dark sage guy who tags along with the main party. I dunno.
That epic all-around hybrid character you acquire as a short-term sidekick who's extremely versatile in magic, stealth, and blade and hand-to-hand combat. You soon part ways for ominous reasons because she's mysterious like that. |
An evil guy. . . high stats and most likely to kill you, but he's not part of the main story.
