Yay, a Den! Who draws!

Guys, I would like you to meet my best friend and fellow nutbar.

Lawtan 05-30-2014 04:42 PM

Welcome, Den!
Glad for you to stop by.
I'll try to be more witty/creative after I cool down some (Have things to do for the Camp and for here :D)

Enjoy the Library. Watch out for the Miscellaneous Shelf, it growls. XD

Den 05-30-2014 05:04 PM

I'll be honest, I'm mainly a lurker, so I may not post a lot.

Lawtan 05-30-2014 06:11 PM

Well, enjoy browsing the collection of works, then :D

zosa 05-31-2014 12:54 AM

does it bite though?

Tam I am 05-31-2014 12:57 AM

*gives everyone here a big bowl full of lava cake*

Den 06-01-2014 01:43 PM

Ooo, lava cake. :D

Tam I am 06-01-2014 03:36 PM

Yup! With a bit of cherry added. Did you note Lawtan's warning about that one shelf?

Den 06-01-2014 04:02 PM

Yup. Just gotta keep Rodimus away from it... and all the Perceptors... >.>;;

Tam I am 06-01-2014 05:31 PM

...The cake? Or the shelf?

Lawtan 06-02-2014 11:33 AM

Hey, all. Sorry if I am not posting much: am rather occupied at the moment with courses and the like.

Keep the cake from the Rodimi, and the Perceptors away from the shelf. lol

Lawtan 06-02-2014 01:47 PM

*The shelf grumbles as if hungry*

Vincent 06-02-2014 03:10 PM

To feed it or not to feed it. =~=

Tam I am 06-02-2014 03:57 PM

Awww. But the Percies would be good to the shelf!

Hi, Lawtan and Vincent!

Den 06-03-2014 04:20 PM

Yes, but then I'd never get them back. XD

Tam I am 06-03-2014 08:12 PM

Yes you would. Don't forget who writes those nerds!

Lawtan 06-04-2014 02:29 AM

Shelf: Feed me, Denbot. Feed me all day long.

XD

Kilala Mikal 06-04-2014 05:52 AM

*pokes around avoiding the hungry shelf* o.o

Hai all. :)

Tam I am 06-04-2014 11:55 AM

I am Tam. Tam I am. The dentist said my tooth wasn't rotten, and the dental hygienist said again that my twisted fangs are some of the healthiest teeth she's ever seen.

Man. What a relief.

Hi, Kiki and Law!

Den 06-04-2014 12:27 PM

I got a new shiny.... got 500 aurum in the crane game this morning...

Tam I am 06-05-2014 03:18 PM

Which set is that?

Den 06-05-2014 05:57 PM

the Loreley one for the summer event, with the Woodland Magic from the token shop. :)

Angel Spirit Girl 06-05-2014 10:34 PM

I really hope I can get enough tickets to get the event items. They look nice.

Den 06-06-2014 11:15 PM

I'm just trying to get enough to get another bundle and the face painting.

Angel Spirit Girl 06-06-2014 11:23 PM

I hope my participation prize tickets will get me the items I want.

I only have four tickets so far. I hope I get get more tomorrow.

Kilala Mikal 06-06-2014 11:28 PM

*flails through randomly, showering ticket luck on everyone*

Lawtan 06-06-2014 11:33 PM

*Sleeps in library, sorry that I am so busy that I haven't really been active...*
(Summer classes were enough that I've not been able to get enough sleep lately)

Kilala Mikal 06-06-2014 11:50 PM

*sets up a huge comfy nest area for Law* I'm sorry you've had a hard time sleeping, hon. :(

Lawtan 06-06-2014 11:53 PM

Essentially, one class I have been taking has taken a minimum of 5 hours of work every day this week. :P (Not including class time, or other things I have to do/work on)

Den 06-07-2014 05:11 PM

I'm mostly recovered from my day out yesterday. My guyfriend from California and I went to the zoo, then we played lazertag, hit a ToysRUs for shinies, then we went to the local Brew Fest and tried a few different beers from breweries in the area (I introduced him to a Meadery that is local to the area and he really liked their cherry mead), followed by cupcakes, burgers, and a quick jaunt to the bookstore. We were out most of the day. :)

Angel Spirit Girl 06-07-2014 11:03 PM

I've had mead and quite enjoy it.

Den 06-08-2014 03:04 AM

Mead is awesome. And it's actually not too difficult to make at home.

Tam I am 06-08-2014 05:58 PM

*hugs EVERYBODY*

Ouch! That sounds nearly as vicious as engineering. *Hug*

*thinks about how mead and need rhyme* No. I don't need a worse headache.

Angel Spirit Girl 06-08-2014 08:37 PM

Tickets I need more than some mead.

Tam I am 06-09-2014 12:01 AM

LOL. Me too.

When did the keyblade come out?

Den 06-09-2014 12:56 AM

Mead's nice... takes awhile to go from fresh and undrinkable to tasty honey wine though.

Tam I am 06-09-2014 04:10 PM

I kinda wonder if I'd actually be able to drink it, because honey doesn't agree with me.

Lawtan 06-09-2014 07:37 PM

Hi all, I'm popping in for a moment.

Here's two interesting things:

The Dark Ages - were not Dark

Also, getting mixed origins of the term "Dark Ages" - one being a poet who write about the time since Rome with the belief that since Rome, life sucked. (I, on the other hand, would resent being called Roman)

Another would be that the Puritans used the term to describe the time before their "wisdom/enlightenment" - these were the same people who effectively crash-landed in the wrong place (Pilgrims at Plymouth), and played a large role in the Salem Witch Trials.

Tam I am 06-10-2014 02:25 AM

I always heard that the Dark Ages were called that because it was a time of very little literacy.
