He coated the walls of his lover with hot white fluid before laying happily betwixt the shoulder blades. He dear not move until Zosa could at least support his weight on his feet and even then there was a little wobble in the step that made the professor brace him. He guided the man over to the bed, wrapping him in a large towel before snuggling with him inside the cot.
he was almost to a doze when he remembered the food and though he did not get up he did let felix know with a touch that he needed to get up and softly told him the same, "felix, we never finished dinner.... i need to finish dinner"
The professor laughed into Zosas skin. "It was breakfast, and I am sure that is a sign that we can reheat it later." He said not wishing to move.
he was not convinced and so did not calm until he felt long fingers caress his arm and a sleepy hum convinced him to try and sleep
When Zosa was quietly slumbering, the professor slipped from the bed. He set lids on all the food before mopping up the over flow of water that came from the bathroom. Silently he opened one of the windows to let in the fresh summer air before tucking away the used table and boxes. Once finished he slid back into the tiny cot, listening to Zosa for a while before finding one of his romance novels.
when he awoke again it was his own stomach complaining and sliding free of felix he padded the short distance to the bags they had and dug out his laptop. turning it on he let it boot while he found a counter to set it on. at first he could not see the connection and nearly called out to felix but it soon flickered on and remained flickering. frowning he tried to do a check, "felix, i am not getting a signal, i think there is something wrong with my computer"
Rising he looked at Zosa found himself laughing. For a child that grew up on an island as well as the backwoods of Russia, it surprised him that the boy never lived in a black out area. "Zosa not every place in the world has a wireless connection. I am sure we can by a router that can connect us to a network here in Russia but for now we have nothing... though it may be a problem if we can not call any one."
the thought made him blanch and reflexively he put a hand to the corner of the screen, "i thought space was the only place...are there any phones? i wanted to order-in dinner and talk to auntie"
The boys alarm scared him. "I... do not own a phone. I have always used a computer to communicate. Haven't you ever went a day with out technology?" He walked forward and put a hand on Zosa's shoulder attempting to reassure him.
"only in space, i did not think that earth could be that way... it is certainly strange." as the hand touched him he looked up and offered his best smile, "it is ok, we can just wait for the signal to come back in or try with what we have"
He could hear the pleading in his lovers voice and found himself looking skyward. It was a beautiful day, and if they did not get signal today he could only image how long Zosa would have to wait. "How far to the nearest town? I think it would be best if we got our own connection."
the flaw in the question was so obvious he was surprised felix did not see it ans there were several awkward seconds between them before he spoke up, "felix, considering what we did in the shower earlier i am not quite able to make dinner myself let alone walk to town. even if i could though i would not know where we are, you picked this place"
The professor smiled. "Then trust me, and I will give you a piggie back ride."
he knew felix would do it, luckily the computer was able to go through right after and he quickly let a cab company know where they were and when to get them. closing the laptop he let himself be pulled back to bed
Once the panic was over, the professor watched Zosa drift back to the bed. He followed but only got so far as to kissing him on the forehead before deciding it was best to take a shower and get ready to go into town.
