I wanna major in international business... so if worst comes to worst (er, kinda worst I guess) then I can at the very least /use/ my Japanese and hopefully go to Japan. or maybe live there. I dunno. >3<'

Azrael 05-11-2011 02:55 AM

FOUND IT
hehe

shinkamalei 05-11-2011 03:03 AM

@lauv:
/hugs/
ugh i hate laundry!
though i REALLY need to do it.
are you regular about it?

@az:
<333 dont worry.
i wouldnt do that.
i would feel far too terrible.
i had to cancel once on a person but i gave them both linearts for free and let them know.
i felt so bad.
still do.
so i dont think i could ever do it again. ^^;

alright.
i will wait.

and JET is extremely difficult.
I know 2 people in it.
I refuse to go into it because it is so ridiculously hard.
I know 4.0 students that have a really hard time with it.
and they are good students.
But I wanted to visit in july-sept but i dont have the money so I will be doing schooling instead.
and i will be going with a comp sci degree... though im still really unsure of it.
i dont want to do it but it screams job security right now. ><
but i will still be majoring in Japanese Language so I can go back again for my senior/3rd year.

@ash:
AH!
my friend's gf often goes to miyajima!
i am soooooo jealous of her!
i want to go there sooooooo bad!
and kinkakuji!
but on a different note - i have a good recipe for okonomiyaki but i am afraid to try it since the last time i tried a japanese dish - mizore nabe - i failed.
but then again i didn't pay attention to the shoyu/mirin ratio since i had helpers who did it.
but i am excellent with sukiyaki! |D

really?!
when i was in fukuoka, my host family owned a restaurant and since my teacher brought me, she took me and my host sister plus her two sisters out to beppu (via bus which i saw some very disturbing things. gross japanese guys >A< ) and we stayed in an old family home!
it was soooooooo nice!

Ashurato 05-11-2011 03:05 AM

I am a bit traumatized by Miyajima. I had crackers in my back pocket when I left the Shinkansen and had a bad run-in with a bunch of deer who wanted to munch on my bum.

It did not end pretty.

Lauv Keiko 05-11-2011 03:06 AM

@Shinka: I hate it too...especially when my sisters don't help me and there are piles of dirty clothes to wash..=_=;

Did I read this correctly? O_o
Munch on your bum? What? why? O_O;;

shinkamalei 05-11-2011 03:08 AM

@az:
roflmao
that was bad.
that was bad!! xDDDDDD
but hilarious!

@ash:
/dies/
awww poor ash!!!
I'm sorry.
That really must have been embarrassing!
I wanted to feed the deer but maybe not anymore ^^;

@lauv:
i know the feeling.
my brother doesnt do any!
its so frustrating!

Ashurato 05-11-2011 03:09 AM

They were after the crackers. I didn't realize I was going to be mobbed by a bunch of deer, antlers and all.

Azrael 05-11-2011 03:09 AM

ah, I haven't looked very hard into it just yet since it's still so far away.At the very least I at least want to do a semester or a whole year if possible of schooling in Japan, but we'll see. I need to look harder but I'll start looking once I transfer to uni, right now I'm just at our community cause it's so much cheaper >3<'

If you know of any good programs or whatever to do for the study abroad could you let me know so I can bookmark them? <3

I want to major in Japanese language but there's so little I could do with it besides teach or translate. I can minor in Japanese if I do the International Business at least, so that's something. And I can do so much with business x.x' It's so open-ended. Plus, if I'm really lucky, it may give me a job where I'll get the opportunity to learn more languages that I want to. (just thought of this actually)

Lauv Keiko 05-11-2011 03:09 AM

@shinka: yeah...right now I need to hang some clothes...so, i'll brb. ^^

shinkamalei 05-11-2011 03:10 AM

@ash:
lol our teacher told us to never put stuff in our pockets so we don't entice the deer.
^^; but its ok if you feed it from the hand yes?
and of course they were after the crackers ;D
xD jk

That...doesn't sound good D:
When every hunter chases after deers...Ashurato only needs a few crackers and viola, a mob of hungry deers. D:

Azrael 05-11-2011 03:10 AM

XD Ash did you see the video I posted?

And I know Shink! XD I will never forget it. And the voices sound almost computerized cause they try not to have the accent. I think that an Asian accent is adorable and I love it, even if it's hard to understand, so I'd rather a heavy accent than them trying not to have one. XD

Ashurato 05-11-2011 03:11 AM

I went with friends, so none of us knew any better. OTL

And good night, guys. I'm turning in for the day.

@ Az - I'll watch it first thing tomorrow! I just can't keep my eyes open anymore.

@ Lauv - It was an experience I would much rather forget. *shudders in fear*

Azrael 05-11-2011 03:12 AM

Awe night Ashy <3 ~snug~ Sleep well.

shinkamalei 05-11-2011 03:19 AM

night ash!
and awww!
well now you will never do it again~

@az:
thats actually where i am now.
its still very.. open.
im just worried and i know i want to move to fukuoka because it felt like home.
like how it is when i am with my mom and we are watching a movie together without my brother or any other nuisances.
it was nice.

JLCC program with kyushu university.
but here's a little tip: check with the university you want to go to and see if they have a sister school in japan.
we have one at university of washington.
their sister school is kyushu university - one of the better ones in japan.
on top of that its for a year... or so the jlcc website says.
but im not sure about the UW program though.
but at the UW they have summer qtrs abroad as well specifically for japanese language students.

and i love asian accents!
they are hot.
I will have to admit i do want to visit fukuoka again partly for the boys.
but more for kamitsuru-kun.
he makes me go like >///U///<
so toshiaki but he is at my CC though he is from kobe.
lol
