Yeah it is.

I wish that it wasn't -sighs.-

Alpha 02-09-2013 12:45 AM

I'm glad it isn't to be honest. It may be stupid (pun kind of intended) but it is what it is.

Lioshika 02-09-2013 01:04 AM

-Shrugs- It just becomes a pain.

Alpha 02-09-2013 01:19 AM

Sometimes, yeah, it does.

hyjin 02-09-2013 11:01 PM

dont that event today made me hate greek so much more...

Espy 02-09-2013 11:04 PM

Greek? The language, or...?

Lioshika 02-09-2013 11:05 PM

I have no idea what a ZETA award ceremony is. o_o

I've always hated the greek-life people. They're chauvinist pigs and drunkards who can't handle liquor. -Nods- A good few of them recently were closed on the campus. One was said to do a severe amount of hazing. One of the things was you had to vomit on another pledge. So gross. -Shudders.-

hyjin 02-09-2013 11:15 PM

@Espy greek life... sorority and fraternities...

@lio ZETA is a greek sorority... today was zeta day and they had a award ceremony for new members, seniors and old members... yeah i hate them for the hazing...

Lioshika 02-09-2013 11:23 PM

I don't see what good Greek life is anymore. It's not very supportive. At least not the ones that we have around here. They're known more fore the gang kind of activity aside from the hazing. We had some that had rented out houses in the downtown area. The houses were shut down and condemned after raids in them. One was known as a drug haven.

If the Greek life was doing as was originally intended, I wouldn't be against them. They used to be focused on being like a support group. Or that is what I gather from the history pages on the school sites. I wish that was the case. Some have a GPA requirement. I was looking at joining the History Greek thing, but you have to have a 3.5. I noticed the people in it were people who weren't quite following ethics on papers and anti-plagiarism. -Sighs.- what a pity really. I refused to use the "help" of the internet.
