The second hand of the King who goes missing at the time of the king's death and believed to be the traitor. The Prince tracks him down but is defeated the first time. The "betrayer" leaves the prince clues behind the conspiracy surrounding his father's death. Eventually they organize a plot against the real criminal.

Jurinjo is a warrior monk possessed by an evil spirit. When the spirit first possessed him, it forced him to slaughter all the other monks living in the same temple. He's become a wanderer in search of a way to release himself from the spirit's hold. He eventually attracts several other people to him who are interested in either him, the evil spirit possessing him, or the methods he could use to banish the spirit.
