O.O
I am a bit of a "mutt" in most things, from culture, to ancestry, to knowledge, to abilities, to experiences. I don't know if that is why I am similar or not.
Jack of many Trades, and hopeful master of a few of them as well.
:p-grin:

And yay! Party at Neverwinter! (Post Wailing Death)

Kilala Mikal 04-04-2014 09:54 PM

Tam, I've already cracked may as well look the part. XD

Lawtan 04-04-2014 10:29 PM

...but...but I glued you back together with super glue...

Could be. LOL Could also be similar personality types. *side note/ramble* I have a young friend who's going through her, I think, third year of Engineering. She's the same kind of grouch that I am. We both apologize to each other for being bad tempered miseries, and usually, the one being apologized hasn't noticed.

Have you ever seen or heard the story (I think it's Chinese, but it might be Japanese) about why cracked pots are a blessing?

Lawtan 04-05-2014 01:14 AM

Meh, I prefer the term "Cynical Idealist".

Favorite NWN module? (Mine's between Aielund Saga and HeX Coda)

This Broken Pot?

Kilala Mikal 04-05-2014 08:36 AM

No I haven't, Tam, though I am interested. ^_^

How's everybody doing today?

Lawtan 04-05-2014 12:14 PM

Well, I dreamed of a student nearly driven insane, a creature made of musical instruments, different ways to solve a problem (twist: I remember the method, forgot the problem XD), and BIIIRRRDDDSSS!!!

o.0 Cynical Idealist... That fits (me, anyway)! And YES, that is the story, though the version I heard wasn't about an Indian water bearer.

Kalala, Lawton found the story. *points to link* And I think I'm okay. I beat a bunch of elastic bands into submission.

I dreamed I was a ten or so year old boy in an anime. Only, after the opening scene (this space city with a huge zero G amusement park attached and my character going DO NOT WANT at the rides), the whole thing was live action instead of animated. The boy was sitting and typing in his journal in a ruined building in some forgotten back alley of the city while a little bitty street girl snuggled against him and slept, and I was reading in that dream, because I noticed that he misspelled "poo" and wrote "pew" instead (he was complaining that a dog had left its poos in the room). Then he sensed danger and a monster approaching and grabbed the little girl and got out of the building. She cried for "Snoopy", her blanket, and he went back for it and a tentacle grabbed it, but he pulled it loose and got it back.

That had to be the easiest to beat dream monster ever. XD

I've actually had a similar sort of dream in the past, involving kids in a rundown school with a mind controlling alien in the pipes/ventilation shaft.

Was that monster easy to beat, too?

A single kick to the face, sending him into a pool, where he swam away saying "I'll be back!"
