|
Um, yeah no ._. I am terrified of heights. LoL
But seriously, I'm going to get pictures of like, everything. I got paid today so when I get to work I'm going to probably get a new SD card. |
aww ono take me wiffs you ouo I get tokyo tower pics!
|
Ah, okay, Az, I get it. You're right then. :)
|
LoL If there were room and you got your own tickets I totally would. But the girl I'm staying with... apparently her apartment is about the size of my bed room ._.'
Haha, okay good to know ^^ XD Hey Coda, you seem to know everything (well, a lot) you know any Korean? |
Not yet. I've been meaning to learn but I haven't even memorized hangul yet.
|
Ah, ^^ It's a little hard at first, but once you get hangul down, it's pretty easy. ER, I mean to remember them. But I still have a hard time with the combo's at times @_@ It's easier by far to remember/read than Japanese, though, even though I've been learning it for years. LoL
If someone posts something on FB in Japanese, I kinda stare at it for a moment before moving on. I can usually read the Korean okay, though, but I rarely catch more than a word or two. |
http://nedhardy.com/2012/04/25/learn...its-that-easy/
This might help too. XD I didn't learn with it looks good <3 Some of the sounds are a little bit off (from what I know for pronunciation) but they're close enough. And the R sound is still a soft R, not a hard one. More like the Japanese R. |
i want to go to japan!!! and we have to make a new section for pictures!!! *cuddles japan*
|
Yeah, I know that link, Az. :P I just haven't taken the time to TRY memorizing it.
|
It happens! that is why i got back grades in my third year of Japanese!
|
ah XD didn't know you'd seen it ^^'
Thankfully it doesn't take too long for the most part. It's hard to memorize them straight, best to learn them by trying to read I noticed >3< Anyway, haha. I really should study Japanese more than Korean right now since I'm going to Japan. |
that would be a good idea! make sure you try all the different foods and tell me about them all!
|
hehe ouo i was watching the Japanese POD 101 kanji lessons.. the way she describes half the kanji is so funny x3
she drew eyes and teeth for the mouth kanji and then goes " we all know someone with big mouth" x'D ahahaha <3 |
hahahahah yea my sensei drew us pictures as well... >w< she couldn't draw!
|
coda told me a funny one x3
The 兄 In お兄さん is because big brothers have big mouths and feet! x3 |
I like that one and most likely will remember it now!!! yay for coda!
|
that is why he is our sensei ouo
|
I think i have to call him coda sensei only because i have a sensei!
|
lets see
the kanji for east :: 東 think of it as looking to the east to see the sun rise and you see a tree as well |
oh that one is nice. though i might not remember it...
flashcards: http://quizlet.com/677731/japanese-t...i-flash-cards/ I haven't really looked into just came across it, figured i should post it up |
when you learn the kanji for sun and tree its easy to remember ouo
spring is a bit harder.. x.x, |
what is spring? i know tree and sun! i just have a bad memory...
|
春 shun
if i remember the lesson from yesterday. 3 man under the sun the kanji for 3, man, and sun are in there |
I would say people more than man
男(otoko)man 人 (hito) person |
the experession the japanese pod 101 use were 3 men under the spring sun xD
but yea persons does make more sence |
I figured as much i just thought i should mention it. I don't know how much kanji you know!
|
yea i know hito ouo they teach the basic kanji then teach stuff that has the kanji you already know into the mix
|
oh that is cool i should start using that site more often just need to not be lazy!
|
they have a youtube thats free i think :3
|
Spring is "haru" when used as a standalone word.
男 for "male" is "strength in a rice field" -- because boys are farmers. 父 (chichi / お父さん otousan) is two crossed axes, because your father cuts the lumber. I'm trying to remember some others. Edit: 車 (kuruma) looks like a two-wheeled cart as seen from above; it means "vehicle" |
xD the haru thing is mainly used as a name so when they normally use spring as the season its shun ouo the ON reading <3
|
春休み "haruyasumi" is "spring break" (more literally, "spring vacation"). When you're talking about the season, you might say 冬より春のほうが好きです。("fuyu yori haru no hou ga suki desu", I like spring more than winter). You only use the "shun" reading in compound words derived from Chinese.
|
I have heard of haru much more then shun... in fact i have never heard of shun...
I like how kuruma looks in kanji! |
The only place I'd seen "shun" is in Sakura's attack names from Street Fighter. :P
|
春らい
spring thunder. :3 using shun its the one they teach on japanese pod 101 lesson "spring into action" |
*sits and watches conversation*
|
Didn't know that word. :P But as a compound word it does make sense that it would use the on'yomi.
|
explain compound ono
|
As in, multiple kanji stuck together to make one word without using any kana.
