Espy 05-18-2014 06:27 PM

I've half a mind to claw myself out of this outfit before people think I'm a girl :P

And thanks, heh. Couldn't decide on a color scheme and this just sort of...uh...happened.

Vincent 05-18-2014 06:35 PM

Pfff XD
Nah Espy makes pretty female avatars. BI

Lawtan 05-18-2014 06:38 PM

Don't worry about it, Espy. Still a little brother :)

Espy 05-18-2014 10:35 PM

I am not little!

Starzel 05-18-2014 10:36 PM

You are very pretty though

Espy 05-18-2014 10:40 PM

Oh. Heheh. Thanks :)

I call those younger than me "little"...

..."brother/sister" means someone I would trust as much as a brother or sister...

...it was meant all-in-all as an honorific. :P

So that would basically be freezing things into another state of existence, to freeze them at that temperature.

And museums aren't boring, Vincent! I've been to the Royal Tyrel museum, which is a dinosaur one, and there is one room with a clear floor full of model trilobytes and stuff. It took some courage for me to get over the weeblies and step on it! And here in Edmonton we have the ... can't remember the name. The big main museum, which has a room with LIVE BUGS, and if there's an attendant there they'll take some of those big bugs out and let you play with them. And we have an aviation museum, just a little one, and a bunch of other small and interesting museums full of cool and nerdy things to gawk at. Just yeah... a tour might be boring. Though I've been on a couple of those and was happy gawking and disrupting the flow by asking questions. XD

I wonder if the pollution would kill the dinosaurs they remade?

Also, yeah! Little just means younger than! Especially since I have to look UP to most of my biological younger siblings. :p

Lawtan 05-19-2014 02:41 PM

That would be an interesting concept...several of the last "massive birds/great lizards" died during the last Ice Age...
(Many of the "great lizards" have proven to have more in common with birds than reptiles)

Vincent 05-19-2014 04:30 PM

-noms on the lawman :B-

Lawtan 05-19-2014 05:24 PM

*noms on the Vincent* Hai :3

As a note, I have added multiple things recently...

Vincent 05-19-2014 05:52 PM

Ohh the ever expanding library o-o
-sits on lawmans head with a book-

Lawtan 05-19-2014 08:03 PM

Hehehe...
*pats the Vincent*

Vincent 05-20-2014 01:30 AM

-reading it upside down trying to look for pictures with squinty eyes-
=-=;

Lawtan 05-20-2014 09:30 AM

*Sighs*
*Gives Vincent an upside-down book

Kilala Mikal 05-20-2014 02:38 PM

*flops in exhausted* =~= My body still hasn't caught up with my lack of sleep this weekend... and yesterday was sooo tedious! *doesn't even have the energy to flail* ugh. I spent four, yes FOUR, hours at my local health department. Paperwork... tests... more paperwork... traveling to different floors... and then more paperwork. DX I ish a tired Kiki.

Lawtan 05-20-2014 03:06 PM

*Huggles the Kilala*

Lawtan 05-20-2014 07:42 PM

*As a note to any who might be offended: My siggy is not a necessary reflection of my views. It is from a series of quotes I liked from John Westbrook as the Red Death. As a note, they did take what was originally a more "wealth and debauchery cannot evade death" and added Christian/Satanist/Rationalist themes...but less to promote one or the other, and more to question it all. It depicts debauchery, but as a result of wealth and escapism, and not risque until the end, where one fellow goes to that extreme as an example of egotism.

Among the conversations/quotes:

(Note: If people want me to remove this, I will, and replace it with cute bunnies. I am aware that such topics make people uncomfortable oftentimes, and I do not mean it to be; the film made me think, in a non-hostile troll-worthy manner, so I liked it.)

Vincent 05-20-2014 07:44 PM

xD Yayy upside down books.

Now all I needs is some upside down cake. P:
/gets shot

Lawtan 05-20-2014 08:17 PM

And so it is said, let there be cake!

Vincent 05-20-2014 08:24 PM

Yayyy. XD -hangs off your head upside down to eat it normally-
P:

Sabrehagen 05-20-2014 11:01 PM

-rolls into the place in a ball of darkness, fluffy evil that is-

I eventually made my here, yes

Vincent 05-20-2014 11:08 PM

A fluffy evil ball of darkness eh. XD

Ello. x3

Lawtan 05-20-2014 11:12 PM

*Welcomes Sabrehagen to the Library*

Sabrehagen 05-20-2014 11:14 PM

I'm an evil ball of fluff, I've been told.

Whatcha up to?

There was a Law lurking!

Lawtan 05-20-2014 11:15 PM

Actually, a Law is poofing back and forth

Hmm...I'm okay. I realized that the Library lacks a Horror genre...

Vincent 05-20-2014 11:16 PM

The law is always lurking = ~ =

Haha. I see XD
Not much. Trisphee and avatar stuff. P:
You?

Vincent 05-20-2014 11:17 PM

Wow you've been on your horror thing for how long and you realize this now, Lawman? XD

Lawtan 05-20-2014 11:18 PM

Yes. Well, specific genres like "horror" and "science fiction" and the like tend to not be as public domain...

Sabrehagen 05-20-2014 11:22 PM

Sniper, that's the lurk word I was looking for; wait until the prey is close than attack.

I'm wandering over to the couch for food and tv, which I haven't really bothered with for the most part of in the past week.

Tam I am 05-20-2014 11:22 PM

*sympathy for Kiki*

Diiiinocheeeekin! Anybody got some cranberries and dressing?

*wanders over to look at the books*

*head whips back*

Bunnies?

*singin' 'Bunny Foo foo' as I look at the books*

Lawtan 05-20-2014 11:26 PM

I remember that song, Tam. xD

I may actually look for some genre-like works. :D

Sniper? Where?

Vincent 05-20-2014 11:30 PM

@ Lawman ;
Ah I guess so. XD Well you got plenty to add if you ever do, I think.

@ Sabre ;
Aw. Have you been feeling alright? :c

Tam I am 05-20-2014 11:31 PM

Eeeeevile bunnies! They vill get you! Bahahaha!

I got a new book today. My friend gave it to me. And I gave her a cookbook of fast and easy stuffs.

Lawtan 05-21-2014 12:19 AM

*Squeebat*
SQUEEEEEEE!!!!!

Forlorn! It's PUBLIC DOMAIN!!!!

*Holds a pitchfork to everyone* Read it. NOW!!!

(Not really doing that, but Forlorn is one of my favorite recent books, and Baen Books have released it, along with a few other works, as public domain)

Vincent 05-21-2014 12:21 AM

o_o;

Forlorn. Never heard of it I believe. XD Sounds different...

Lawtan 05-21-2014 12:25 AM

It is. I recommend it, and A Mankind Witch (both by Dave Freer) to people.

I don't want to say anything to ruin it. It may not be the highest of literature, but it is a favorite of mine, and the concepts are an inspiration to my writing/books.

Tam I am 05-21-2014 02:30 PM

LOL I'll have to pass, Lawtan. But you're welcome to tell me the stories in PM, if you want to. *doesn't believe in this concept "spoilers". Wants to know the whole blame story before I watch it! And most of it before I read it!*

Lawtan 05-21-2014 10:59 PM

I sent you a PM, Tam I Am...

I guess the biggest thing about the stories of Dave Freer (and the group he writes with: Eric Flint and Mercedes Lackey) is that they are interesting worlds.
Interesting worlds being:

Limited fantasy (either take fantasy back to prehistory, or only having a few fantastical elements; Napoleonic Wars...with Dragons!)

Cyber/Steampunk (Shadowrun Novels are awesome, as are Verne-esq novels!)

Victorian, classical, romantic, gothic, and ancient styled works as the writing backdrop/style (but not the focus)

1960's, Stargate, Doctor Who, or Star Trek Space
