I don't think I'd ever get famous because you have to be nice to so many people in the industry sdghasdhgasasdgh like the musical theater director of this group I did Shrek with, he once called an actress all kinds of names, said she was unprofessional and not a real artist, then 6 months later she's the stage manager. I would not come back, but I get that there aren't many opportunities in the city and she did what she had to.

That's too bad that people feel like putting others down pushes them to do better. At least you don't put up with enabling it. Hopefully you can find more supportive people in the community that allow you to grow.

Hey there, Espy.

Welcome in, Espy!

Yeah the director of uhhh spoken theater?? Not musical theater. He's so nice but also firm, and it drives us to respect him and not fear him. Wow Monica, two theater classes!! But also I'm taking a third one with puppets.

Ooh, puppets sounds cool. What kind do you work with? I like the ones not mostly meant for kids. I tried to go to one of my favorites, but her show sold out too quickly.

We sculpted them!! With papier mache. My character is a devil suspiciously shaped like my dad.

Oh no!! I hate when that happens... like sales open 5pm monday and you gotta be free or else.

Biomecha 10-21-2025 07:38 PM

That sounds like an idea you can do a lot with. You could even use the avatar skills you've developed to make puppets. Are you going to a many-limbed one? :s-laugh:

If I had more fingers in my hand xD since it's thumb for an arm, two fingers for the head and the other two fingers for the other arm, at least for this kind of puppet.

Biomecha 10-29-2025 03:52 AM

That sounds fun though, coming up with a character and acting it out with your hands. I'd probably focus too much on the outfit.

mdom 11-01-2025 10:54 PM

Hehe my puppet's outfit is just flames drawn on a black cloth, but some others are like, fully fleshed costumes, like a vest on a collared shirt.

Biomecha 11-08-2025 02:54 PM

I guess you would need sewing skills just like large scale, since it's not much different. I want to see more puppet fashion shows from designers, like the covid ones

mdom 11-10-2025 10:15 PM

Oooh yeah, those were so creative!!!

But unfortunately the puppet presentation is cancelled... we were only 4 and not all of us were comitted to the class D:
