KITTIES! I wouldn't mind being their auntie! XD

mdom 02-20-2017 02:25 PM

Changing orbits sounds risky. Better to invest in new technology.

ml1201 02-20-2017 03:11 PM

The problem would be finding a planet we could live on without having to use technology for everything and the creatures native to the planet. And lets not forget that planet's versions of 'natural disasters'.

Lawtan 02-20-2017 03:28 PM

...I hate to say that the chances of us finding a life-bearing planet before that issue...would be slim. Mainly because most earth-like planets are thousands or millions of lightyears away. (We'd be better off taking over the known solar system at present, I think)

The Dyson sphere has the issue of "has no real design yet" - but if Britain gets it on with sustainable fusion, that could change. :D

Potironette 02-20-2017 06:50 PM

*searches Dyson sphere on google*

I didn't imagine the phrase "taking over the solar system" would be quite so literal xD

mdom 02-21-2017 02:14 AM

Obviously the design has to be a sphere!
Ta-dah! mdom solving all of the world's problems!!!

ml1201 02-21-2017 08:09 PM

I think its pretty cool, not sure if encasing a star is a good idea though. ^^;

mdom 02-22-2017 02:24 AM

Encasing and absorbing its energy!
Mwahahahahah!

ml1201 02-22-2017 10:35 AM

I'm just thinking of when the star becomes a red dwarf. x'D

Lawtan 02-22-2017 11:39 AM

...that is a process that takes thousands of years. (very quick in relation to 14 billion years)

So, in theory, one can adjust it.

ml1201 02-22-2017 12:29 PM

very true, so if they start working on it now there shouldn't be any issues.

Kitty update: Apparently, Maverick and Goose are more than half Ragdoll kitty, because they literally will ragdoll when picked up. It also explains why they're so big at six months old. I honestly thought they might be part Maine Coon, but hey, Ragdolls are still awesome. :3

ml1201 02-22-2017 08:46 PM

I want a ragdoll kitty, it seems they were breed to do that to make them lap kitties. x'D Or that's at least what I heard on a show on animal planet.

mdom 02-23-2017 12:17 AM

Ragdoll kitties are sooo adorable o3o

Lawtan 02-23-2017 01:11 PM

Ragkitties!

...our cat turns to stone most of the time when picked up.

mdom 02-24-2017 01:09 AM

Hehehe the cat is showing how much it loves being picked up xD
kinda like me when someone tries to be affectionate.
