I don't doubt that one bit.

It wound up being a mess because the place sponsoring it double booked some other food event. So it was extremely crowded and the hosts couldn't even get parking. Then the other event had a DJ so they had to take turns with letting people hear them on the speakers.

Last week they did a live podcast for 4/20 day, and that went well.

One of them was, he's know for his weed intake. Some other people in the audience and a comedian said they were. It's not legal here, but things like CBD, delta-8 & 9 are. The comedians made giant joints for part of a game.

Man I met someone from musical theater in the mall and I almost cried... it's been so long since I met with people...

Do you still have to worry about everyone wearing masks as much there? Do you plan to get back into it?

Yeah basically no one wears masks (including my parents, which drives me wild) and I'm still paranoid after catching covid at the hospital... Maybe I'll feel better after getting the new vaccine

Yeah, I wonder how different the severity of cases are there versus here.

Other things like strep are going around, so it would be nice if people wore masks just to prevent other things.

I also need to take my parents to get the flu vaccine.

I wound up doing a clinical trial for a flu vaccine. It was kind of a cool process, and the study is going to last over a year. I have to keep going in for appointments and fill out an e-diary.
