I'm allergic to eggs :(

BUT
I love the bardcore, I've been listening to it quite a bit lately. :D

littl3chocobo 07-08-2020 03:36 AM

so i am the last one to the party x''D

i haven't even heard the original coffin dance, oops!

do you know if bandcamp has any bardcore with lyrics? i have no idea how to look for it and i don't have a soundcloud(which is where everyone seems to be at)

Kory 07-08-2020 06:37 PM

I guess..... Yeah. You're late, chocobo. :P
Hahaha.

I also have not heard the original coffin dance. :c
But I'm not super interested in hearing bardcore songs that I'm not familiar with their originals.

<U< I'm more of a synthwave sort of listener, but I like to familiarize myself with the original versions of the songs too.
^_^

I'm a sucker for medieval music.

Might I suggest "Come Again" by John Dowland. The best version, IMHO is the cover by Sting.
I would also suggest "In Aboris" by Phillipe De Vitry.

The bardcore seems to be pretty good. I'd be interested in more original songs than pop covers. I tend to like music that blends different styles. Can't really call it fusion though, since that mostly applies to jazz.

littl3chocobo 07-09-2020 06:04 AM

i don't know any of that, ava x''D i am musically illiterate hahahaha

original stuff is a pretty mixed bag though. with covers there is a baseline of quality since part of the work is already finished by someone who you know is competent

When I was in online high school, I took a music history class and I heard loads of amazing medieval, baroque and renaissance music. ;u;

I think that was when I first fell in love with those styles.
Most of the medieval music or renaissance music or lute music I listen to is from what I had listened to in the class.

Biomecha 07-09-2020 08:51 PM

Oh wow, those classes sound pretty awesome.

And now we see the progression of chocobo's bird giving life to other birds...and possibly mutating them.

littl3chocobo 07-10-2020 05:02 AM

i just got a lot of western classical and pre-80's pop songs as a baby XD

more they didn't like what they tasted and mosey'd on home!

Biomecha 07-10-2020 03:56 PM

Heheh, similar situation here along with country. I didn't really discover other types until much later in life because of growing up in such a rural area. But I still have nostalgia for music like Cyndi Lauper.

littl3chocobo 07-10-2020 05:59 PM

well, she was classically trained :D hard to beat that!

you should tell me what colour my next avi ought to be ^^

Biomecha 07-10-2020 07:57 PM

Heheh, you want me to pick? Why is that?

Do you like the olive in the faded set, #4? I keep wanting to try that one.

Merskelly Metalien 07-10-2020 08:08 PM

In memorium of chocobo's poor rotting turkey bird. <x'D

littl3chocobo 07-11-2020 05:58 PM

i can try that colour ^^ wish me luck!

pffft, that is a very inappropriate 'neck' on that bird hahahhaa

Biomecha 07-12-2020 12:20 AM

I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

I wonder what turkey neck meat taste like. Or maybe not. Especially with all the bones.

...I don't know any other way to word that without any sort of euphemism.
