What's annoying is a lot of seasonal stuff is marked at a "discount" the moment it hits shelves. Or the clearance sales seem to start a couple of weeks before the main events instead of after, now.

I usually aim to look around sooner, but the past few years there seems to be something that happens to delay things. And so by the time I check, most of the items are already gone or on clearance.
