That sounds horrid! I'm currently on my brother's iPod because he just joined trisphee, and I'm letting him use the pc for his first visit.
Today just keeps on getting worse.
I just found out what happened to my little baby sunflower sprouts... My grandmother KILLED THEM!!! She took them out of the planter they were in and put them in the big flower bed in the backyard where they were very well choked out by all the larger plants. I'd had a baker's dozen sprouts before she got to them. Now, there're only two left. I hate my family sometimes... a lot of the time. |
I'm so sorry. But I know the feeling. My cousins drive me crazy.
That;s not nice but maybe she was trying to be nice about it and put them some where new? I don't think she ment to kill them.
Probably.
Wow. It just went from dry to raining in a almost sheet. It was not raining, and then it was pouring. Scary fast weather. |
I live in Colorado, it could be sunny all morning then Raining an hour later, with snow, hail and other things.
I bet that it's like that no matter where you are... With exceptions.
We are known to have all four season in one day. XD
And now the rain is gone and the sun is shining.
Yay love that weather!
It's great... But the sun is SHINING very brightly. *Hisses* Stay away sun. Stay away.
hahahahahaha~~ -stares at the bight light hides under cloke-
The light *Sizzles softly* It-it burns!
I live in Florida, so I'm used to being the sun's bitch. The rainy season hasn't started here yet, but I'm hoping it'll start early and last longer than usual. I absolutely love the rain. I even like thunderstorms.
I really love the rain, it's the sun that I hate.
Rain is nice it was storming for the last two days.
*pokes thread* Hey, are you dead? You haven't moved in four days.
Im moving it, reyoki! <3
Hooray for movement!
Oh great, now I have the song "Whip It" stuck in my head. XD |
what is that song? *blinks*
Whip It- DEVO
It's from the early 80s. I warn you, though... this song can easily become an ear worm. |
oh no no no...no ear worms for me atm... D:
Im trying to study grammar! T_T |
Grammar is very confusing at times. Like with learning a foreign language, there are some certain things that you have to just memorize.
You're right. *nods* I mean, I know how to use correct grammar when I talk or write, it's just that things get confusing when 'rules' come in... ;^;
I normally don't use correct grammar when I speak, save for when I'm addressing one of my professors or someone of authority. I do try to use proper grammar when I write, though... it drives my friends nuts when I use proper spelling and grammar in text messages. XD
Haha! that's funny~
some people think you're too formal if you use 'proper' grammar...ain't I right? |
Yeah, it really gets awkward when I start bustin' out the fancy linguistics and whatnot. I've had people physically pause and give me strange looks when I use proper grammar, especially if I've been using casual grammar and slang just before with my friends or something. It is kind of offending to have others be surprised at my intelligence, though.
My friends would tell me, "you're not gunna use them in the future anyways!"
but here I am...learning my basic english grammar all over again because I got myself a job as an english tutor for Korean students... ;^; |
Ah, that's cool, though. I could never be a language tutor because I lack the patience.
That's where I would excell, patience. ^^ I like taking things slow too.
But most of the Koreans already know how to speak english, so it won't be that hard. |
That's a plus, then.
For a while, I'd humored the idea of teaching conversational English in Japan... then I saw the other side of the educational fence and decided to run very far in the other direction. |
What was there in the other side of the educational fence?
On the other side of that fence... I found scorn, extremely low pay, continuous ridicule, zero rest and privacy, and enough legal red tape to cover the Empire State Building.
Yuck... That sounds horrid.
...wow, that's bad news.
Yeah, that's why I switched my major from Education to Business Management. I'm only one class away from getting my Associate's Degree!
And now, THAT'S good news! I'm happy for you~
I'm happy, too. I'm taking World Mythology in the Fall, plus three more classes just for pure shits and giggles.
Also, hey Luna! *glomps Luna* |
*Is glomped, falls over* Hi there Reyo. Sounds like your getting where you want to go. that's good.
Meh, I dunno. I figured I might as well get a business degree or two to start out, then try to find something I really enjoy doing.
