It doesn't really matter, no. Neither is incorrect, as "konnichi wa" is more or less an interjection rather than a complete statement.

But as I said, when used in a complete sentence, the positioning of the word will go earlier in the sentence due to the need to have it be grammatically placed.

I've heard it both ways myself. though with minna first there is always some what of a pause before saying konnichiwa. they say it to get everyones attention.. where when they say konnichiwa first.. its like they have the attention already.. but thats my experience :3

I'm listening to music (in this case "God knows..." from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) and sort of surprising myself with how much of it I understand. Some excerpts (not necessarily organized how they are in the song):

ごめんね、何も出来なくて (gomen ne, nani mo dekinakute; "I'm sorry, I couldn't do anything")

あなたは許してくれない (anata wa yurushitekurenai; "You don't forgive me")

どんなつらい世界の闇の中でさえ、きっとあなたは輝いて (donna tsurai sekai no yami no naka de sae, kitto anata wa kagayaite; roughly "no matter how painful it is in the darkness of the world, surely you shine")

I find that breaking down songs and stuff to understand the lyrics is a good way to practice, so if anyone has any questions about how any of these phrases are structured I'd be happy to explain. コーダ先生は教えるよ！(Coda-sensei wa oshieru yo! "Coda will teach!")

Just don't get My Japanese Coach. It has some errors in it so that if you give the correct answers on some questions it counts it wrong, requiring you to intentionally get it wrong (and remember that it's wrong so you don't memorize the incorrect answer!) in order to proceed.

Reading/Writing romanji is almost harder for me than it is it write in katakana/hiragana.

i can read and write romaji but.. it doesnt help me practice the kana.. so i want to avoid it so i have given up on my japanese coach xD

haha, you really need a fine pen/pencil to be able to write kanji okay without it being ginormous.

I need to get ink to print out the kanji/kana paper.. (that or find a way to get a japanese notebook x.x)

Why did you choose to use "tokoro da"? I would have just said "kippu wo katta!" and been done with it. Also I would have said "nihon he no kippu" ("a ticket to Japan") though I don't think what you said is incorrect.
