It is entirely up to you what you wish to add to your list. This is to encourage reading, so list away your fanfiction.
Also rereading a book is reading! So feel free to add that too.
I have books that I have read 7 or 8 times and I always list them.
You can also add a page count.

I'm going to stick to physical books for now, to get me to actually read the stuff I've purchased.

I have so many books at home that I have not read. Mostly non-fiction, but still. I just keep buying them. My library has a "fill a bag for $3" sale and I just can't stop going!

Enough staring at Steam! I shall read some book, darnit!

Quiet Man Cometh 06-26-2017 08:41 PM

I have read some book! A couple chapters, actually. If you're interested in the psychology around video games, Death By Video Game is very interesting. The author talks about the various draws as well as the various things people have done with them, and I'm personally interested in how much of this I can find relatable.

I haven't been reading a whole lot because, amusingly and perhaps fittingly, I'm distracted by the Steam sale and playing video games.

I remember in the library they had a book about Second Life, and the creator. Now I can't find it. I was on Second LIfe for maybe a week, that shit is crazy!

I'm jealous of this library sale.
Apparently, my the library here had a 3 day book sale a few days ago, but it was so poorly advertised that I didn't know about it until my friend that does custodial work there on Sundays told me about it.

one of the libraries near me is having a book sale the weekend of august 10th... i think. i'll go and look around. i have some Castle books i want to buy for cheap. XD

Moonshadow 07-05-2017 11:13 PM

Library sales are the best! But that does create a problem for people like me that want to read every book they see, but read so slow and just doesn't have all day to read!

Kaderin Triste 07-10-2017 06:52 PM

Someday I will try to make it to a library sale! *stares at the bookcase full of books that I've only read half of and then at the pile of unread books that won't fit in the bookcase*

Quiet Man Cometh 07-10-2017 11:08 PM

I've been lax on my reading.

I see little ideas here and there for bookshelves and part of me can't wait to get my own house so I can try some of these. I like the chair with hollowed out arms so you can stack books in them, or the staircase that has books underneath each step. Fun things. Floating shelves are cool, too, though I have issues with laying books on their side for long...can damage the spine.

trystan830 07-11-2017 12:00 AM

i started book #24 earlier today: Hollow City: The Second Novel of Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children, by Ransom Riggs

:D

Kaderin Triste 07-11-2017 12:13 AM

Ah! I've been wanting to read those books! I skimmed the first one when I saw it in Target a couple years back!

trystan830 07-11-2017 12:17 AM

i saw the movie a few months back and enjoyed it.... so i picked up the first book last week for the reason that it was on the library shelf. now i'm up to book 2. there's three in the series, plus a book of 'Tales of the Peculiar' that looks like it might be a fun read.
