Stabbsworth 11-16-2019 10:00 PM

littl3chocobo 11-16-2019 10:01 PM

then suffer but do so with the knowledge that it is your own hand that holds the rod at your back?

Mekatra 11-16-2019 10:12 PM

That was incredibly poetically said. I appreciate that.

Stabbsworth 11-16-2019 10:14 PM

phone doodles soon. should upload them here at some point.

Mekatra 11-16-2019 10:17 PM

You should.

I am making more cookies for some reason. I decided at last minute to make mini m&m chocolate chip cookies instead of going to bed early.

Kory 11-16-2019 10:27 PM

I want a cookie

;-;

Mekatra 11-16-2019 10:42 PM

What kind? I have Peppernuts, stained glass sugar, mini m&m chocolate chip, linzer with peach raspberry jam, and checkerboard.

Oh and also beef cheddar dog biscuits, but I doubt you want those.

Kory 11-16-2019 10:52 PM

Can I take an M&M chocolate chip cookie?

I don't know what a Peppernut is :o
But it doesn't sound tasty.

Mekatra 11-16-2019 11:06 PM

It is a german cookie that has a lot of spices and anise in it. If you don't like gingerbread or licorice, you probably won't like them.

Kory 11-16-2019 11:38 PM

I looooove gingerbread c:
Gingerbread > gingerbread cookies, though

But gingerbread is tasty!
Is your family German? :D

Like I get that necroposting is when a post hasn't had activity in quite some time, but I always thought it was just bumping of a dead thread, whereas bumping is attempting to bring attention to any thread. is the difference here that it needs to be a meaningful contribution as opposed to solely *bump*?

as was mentioned, a "bump" offers nothing to a conversation. it literally says "i want this thread to get attention but don't want to contribute to the overall conversation at this time."

necroposting, however, is just posting after a thread is considered "dead". so, random example, if there's an old thread about a niche game that hasn't seen any posts in 3 years, but YOU just discovered the game and want to see if anyone else is still interested, you can post about that game in that old thread and it's perfectly okay.

since hangouts exist specifically for casual chatting, using casual chat to revive them is acceptable. but bumping still doesn't contribute anything to conversation, so it's not allowed.

so basically my life is on the razor's edge of a ban? X''D seems about right

i want anise!

Stabbsworth 11-17-2019 12:07 PM
