while triple posting and bumping aren't allowed, there absolutely is no rule against reviving dead threads. meaning, if you want to revive an old hangout that hasn't gotten activity in a significant amount of time, it's as easy as making a post asking if anyone wants to chat. |

yes, as long as you're making a serious attempt to stay on subject and contribute to the conversation, there's no pressing need to look at the dates for any thread. if it's meant to be dead, it'll die again after your post, no big loss. but! you might stir up a revived conversation if you try!
